Wow. We've visited haunted house attractions before, but nothing so far compares to Field of Screams. Get the all attractions pass, you will not regret it. Also, fast pass made this experience much more enjoyable. Each attraction is unique, and you can tell they dropped some serious coin on animatronics, props and yes, pyrotechnics. Not your typical haunted attraction. Great job, folks!
It was pretty good and the people can touch and grab you. They have an amazing pitch black room where you literally cant see anything in front of your face. I gave it a four star because it could always use improvement. They did have live music and plenty of food, but the food is a little pricey.
Pros - This Haunt is full of obstacles and interactive elements that really get the customer involved in the experience. Tight corridors force you to take your time, and really take in the environment.
The hay ride is plenty long enough, a lot of fun, and also very interactive. Despite the rainy weather, the hay and trailer were actually pretty dry, so kudos on making sure it was clean and comfortable!
Actors that were there had a lot of energy, all seemed dedicated and to really enjoy their roles.
Cons - Their outdoor attraction was limited on staff, there were a lot of areas that had no actors and that's their longest section. Having that part full would really make for a satisfying walk through.
There were also a lot more pop guns throughout the entire park, which aren't scary, just extremely painful and deafening, on the hay ride they are fine, but I think they could definitely do without having so many of those in the close quarter indoor scenes being set off right in your ear X.X
Only other new element that was interesting but perhaps a bit much was the sudden spurt of water in one hayride scene that wasn't just a quick spritz. It left most everyone wet, annoyed, and cold. I think if it were toned down to a lighter mist it would be better, maybe angle it away a little so that customers aren't taking a direct shower and getting drenched. I actually thought it had started raining again with how much water there was lol
Those are the only reasons I hesitate to give 5 stars, but it is still a great PA attraction :)
I can't rave about this place enough, it exceeded my expectations. It is the perfect combination of scary and entertaining. The whole time I was appreciating the attention to detail on the props that create the scenes. Of the 4 attractions, Nocturnal Wasteland was my favorite. It wasn't just a short walk in the woods that relied on jump scares. The path was windy and foggy, abandoned buses and vehicles made you feel like you were on the set of a horror film. All of the lines were absolutely worth the wait. And it was great that they shut down the attractions one by one by announcing it so you knew where to head next. Thank you for providing a night of fun for a reasonable price.
Was here for a date night with my husband last weekend. we were here last year and i wanted to come back because it was one of my favorite haunted attractions. the hayride was the best part- one of the actors (a clown) decided to make me colorful with all his confetti- which was great! this year we came at the prime time so my husband decided to pay the extra money for VIP- even though i enjoy standing in the lines and waiting i did enjoy the "VIP experience". we will be back!
Wow what an amazing experience! This is a seriously well done haunted house. All four attractions were so amazing! The details that go into every room are stunning. I couldn't stop looking at everythiing and I just wanted to spend hours taking it all in. The den was prob my favorite but the hay ride was a close second. Their way of bringing you into the scenes was very unique and will always stay with me. The spinning room. Wow! Everyone should make this a destination for your Halloween entertainment!!!
Friend has been here numerous times, and had us drive 2 hours from Philly. While I think you're get more than what you pay for, the haunts are awesome, but not worth the two hour drive. We paid the $34 for the scream pass, all 4 attractions. The place was very well put together, and the haunts last longer than the typical hayrides I'm used to.
This place was absolutely a blast!! Worth every penny. You really get your money's worth here..the actors Are right there with you..in your face scare a minute thrill ride. Everything is so interactive. I go every year and next year will be no different. In fact..i just might start going twice a year..it always changing and evolving. You never really get the same exact experience twice. 5 stars all the way..great job field of screams!! Keep up the good work!!
Hands down! Best Haunt in all of MD, PA, and VA. I swear I am a haunted house fanatic every year around this time I go to haunted houses literally every single weekend. This one I went to last night for the 1st time because it was the only one open this early in the season and It is the best! When you walk in it feels like your at a Halloween Carnival. Lots of food, games, live band, and lots and lots of scary decorations. The even have a free photo booth that will email or text your pictures to you. The text didn't work but we went back and the email worked great. I was satisfied with all 4 Haunts, and amazed at the technology. The Staff made everything fun and scary! Great Actors. You don't want to miss this! Also, one of the more affordable ones. This was worth the hike from MD. Plan to go early! There's lots to do and you want to spend as much time there as possible!
Awesome time with 4 kids. Very fun and worth the money. I recommend paying extra for VIP or your wait in lines could be for hours.
Scariest haunted house I've ever been to!! Great for the family
My 12 year old son and I loved it, as this was our first ever haunted attraction. The costumed actors were authentic, intense, and very convincing in their respective roles. They had a lot of fun scaring guests throughout the entire park. A lot of hard work, time, money, and effort went into creating everything for us patrons to enjoy and it was well worth it. The waiting time to get into all four attractions wasn't that long and they moved pretty quickly, so the VIP passes isn't really necessary, especially if you get there before Field of Screams opened. We got through them all in a couple of hours; plus the workers at the food places and the game places were extremely nice, polite, and courteous. The many sound effects, smoke, fog, mist, strobe lights, and loud explosions can be headache inducing at times, but all in all, we had a great time and would definitely go again around Halloween.
Best haunted attraction I've visited. Went through all 4 attractions - superb props, sets, & actors all around! We went on a Fri night - lines were long but they kept moving at a steady pace. It's intended for folks looking for a good scare, and it doesn't disappoint!
We had a lot of fun while attending Field of Screams, but wasn't as scary as we perceived it to becould be because we are older. We were amazed by the quality of their attractions. They were extremely well done and you could tell they have a heck of a team working with them, especially the people who built the sets and make everything happen! They definitely put a lot of time and money into their site. We were amazed with their props and scenery.
