Nice 6 and 7 pounders I got a 10 pounder
Most of the other cabins were one big group. The beach was essentially "theirs" which made it feel very unfriendly. They took over the whole area.
Cabin beds were old and very uncomfortable.
The couches are old and dirty.
There was no bath tub ( was not told this) which made it fun with kids as the shower head sprayed every which way but down. We had to go buy something so we could bathe our kids.
Free wifi was offered but did not reach to our cabin at all. We stayed a week and this was something I needed for work. Very frustrating. For $1000+ nothing advertised was actually there.
Fridge ran the entire time and was insanely loud and not cold in the slightest.
Oven was always "ON" even though the knob was turned to off. ( again, terrifying with kids )
Backyard was essentially a residents back yard so there was no privacy.
Cabins sit on a main ( VERY BUSY 24/7 traffic) road. VERY loud all day and night.
Overall it was a roof over our heads for a week. We left the resort every day for some peace and quieter surroundings along with a beach my kids could swim at or simply play without getting hit by cars speeding by.
We won't be returning.
We've been going here for years. Great if you like rustic cabin living. I.e no televisions.
Best place to stay on Bass Lake.
Excellent 5*
The views from the porch were lovely and they have very resonable boat rental fees. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. The cottage wasn't clean when we arrived. Overall, it was nice to get away and be on a lake but the cottage needs some TLC.
Great Lake Resort! Pure Michigan
We have been coming here for a few years now and love it! We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! The beautiful lake and sand on your feet is awesome! The cabins are very clean and cozy! I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to stay on Bass Lake! Love it!
