Financial Aid staff Is not helpful. Goarmyed counselors in the military services office weren't either. I had a bad experience with an online course I took this past semester. The instructor would not reply to my emails or provide feedback of any sort. No lie, it took almost a month to get a relply (almost a month after the assignment was due) to get a response by then it was too late. Instructor also counted an assignment that was turned in on time as incomplete. I would avoid this school if you can. Campus location is nice since it's close to fort Bragg.

The professors are the best, but the admission and the service is the worse. even the advisors sounds lost and can barely help!! Always harsh and old enough to be working .

FTCC is the equivalent of McDonald's for your education. It may be cheap but it is still bad for you. They have many students who have financial aid money go missing or issues with the financial department regarding classes not being paid for when they have been paid for. Lots of drugs on campus and fights that are unresolved by campus staff. The teachers lack any motivation and feel more forced to teach because it is their job than that they enjoy it.

I can't give them 4-5 stars because of my bad experience here. For colleges in military town, they need to be military friendly. Apparently, they are not.

Horrible institution. There are some good programs, with good instructors, offered. The school administrators primary drive is to make as much of a profit as they can. They are not interested in students or providing a good educational experience, they just want money.

Some members of this "institution of higher learning" administration are not the best and they could realy benefit from a plethora of customer service classes. I felt like I was talking education with a post office casher while at the front desk of the DMV! They have perfected the art of Politely being, sarcastic, short, condescending @$$#oles! But they will not raise thier voices or use bad language, which makes the interaction ok I guess!! Had a phone conversation with a member today and the conversation ended so fast with the phone literally clicking while I was still talking, and not fully understanding the out come of the conversation!

Not even worth one star!!! Not even worth my time to write this either, but I do believe people should know before they even try to go to this school. I've had absolutely the worst help possible with this school, more like NO help. They dont approve any credits, the financial aid office NEVER emails back, and when you go to call NO ONE ANSWERS, they send you to an automated voice that says to email but what's the point they dont answer there emails either that's why I call. When you call you get put on hold forever. Also researched there graduation percentage 7%. After all the trouble I had I believe this is the worst school, I dont know how they haven't been shut down! They definitely don't want anyone to succeed Worst experience ever.

I have two daughters that both went to FTCC.my youngest graduated with class of 2017. And then started a new program in which she applied for financial aid. The help you receive there is unhelpful. We had to go up there several times because no one answers the phone! Why are there phones??? When we did go up there and thinking the problem got resolved, come to find out it was NEVER RESOLVED!!! So we must go up there again and probably actually watch the issue get resolved. Don't take their words for it!!! Always get an email confirming the fix. They need to do better. Some students actually are trying to get an education to further themselves!!!!

Graduated from FTCC in December 2016 from the Business Administration program, transferred in as a junior at Campbell University since most credits were accepted. Yes, there are some unhelpful and unfriendly people working at FTCC and you'd better take the day off if you ever need help with financial aid since they work slower than a snail crawls.
Honestly the tuition is so low that you may be able to go half time and pay out of pocket and the financial aid process almost makes you want to..almost lol.
I don't see myself going back to FTCC, but I can say that this community college has many different and useful resources IF you know how and where to find them.response / report this review -

Love this place. Lots of good business classes as well as other technical classes. Lots of different people from all walks of life and the staff is knowledgeable.

I am utterly disgusted with this school. I attended for 2 years and graduated from here in 2015. Never had an issue. Transfered to a 4 year and came back for another round in 2017. This time around was the most chaotic experience I've ever had in my life. Financial aid office was a disgrace. Had me turn in paperwork that wasn't needed, my account didn't get worked for 3 weeks and the "call center techs" were rude and nonchalant about every issue. This is my last semester. Going to Sandhills where I would hope to be treated better smh.

For the most part I've enjoyed my time here. The main problem I've run into is that the different departments such as financial aid and registration do not communicate with each other. If you have a question you'll get three different answers and you'll just have to figure it out on your own. The teachers are great, the facilities are nice, the curriculum is in depth. If attend this college you'll enjoy your experience but the registration and financial aid process will frustrate you.
