I love sushi and Fat Salmon exceeded all of my expectations. My friends have been telling me I had to have dinner at Fat Salmon and I am glad I listened to them. The theme is cool and trendy and is a perfect place for date night night or getting together with friends. The sushi bar is different in that you cannot see them making your sushi but that's fine with me. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. Servers were very nice and friendly. I will be coming back here soon.

One of my favorite options when I want sushi in Philadelphia. Sushi here are fresh and soo delicious, rolling fire is a must every visit. Service is great, reservation is recommended specially in the weekends.

Incredible sushi. They have a great assortment of speciality roles, but still have all the classics. The fish is very fresh and comes out cold. The vampire role is my favorite. The large hot sake is a good deal for $14. Atmosphere is good, not too loud. The inside is very modern and the sushi bar is right in the middle for everyone to see. Definitely make reservations (through Yelp) for weekends. I highly recommend this place for all your sushi needs.

I Always love coming here because the fish is fresh, the service is quick and the atmosphere is relaxing; even on busy nights. They have a ton of special rolls but I typically stick with the regular rolls. All of the staff members are really nice and this place is great for date night, casual after work food/drinks or a special occasion.

The interior is nice and the atmosphere is relaxed. Those are the ONLY two things that I enjoyed. They were not busy, but my waitresses' attentivness was less than zero. She was painfully slow.no, she was nonexistant. I ordered a glass of wine with my food and I never got it. I ended up taking my food to go because it took so long and I had to go pick up my children from school. Poor experience, lackluster food and extremely poor service. I'd never step foot in this place again.

Delicious sushi. Not much seating though, had to sit at the bar when I was there. Price was a bit higher than I'm used to. (Spent about $20 on two sushi rolls) but I think the sushi was pretty good. right across the street from Washington square park too, which is nice.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Philadelphia. They have good drinks and DANK sushi. Highly recommend if you are looking for some high quality Japanese food.

Average sushi quality. Standard sushi Roll pieces too big and hard to eat. Menu seemed to have creative fancy rolls but we had the basics. Good dumplings/gyoza. Service was very good.

One of the best fusion style sushi restaurant I have tried across the states. Every sushi roll is special and unique in their own way. They use real seafood (crab), no imations. Their fishes are fresh! I did not try their sashimi, but I am sure they are fresh and delicious as well.
Service is top-notch with class. No wonder the high ratings from most. Would definitely go here again.report this review -

I'm all about really good sushi, and this place has it. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is great. The service was also fantastic the water was conveniently refilled at perfect intervals. I can personally recommend their salmon and tuna rolls.
