Recently remodeled but not improved. Sadly they seem to be struggling and are cutting service and quality.
On our last visit they brought the ice cream service to the table so we could watch our desserts being prepared, which sounded like fun. Unfortunately the toppings were thin and watery and overall quality is down.
Food choices have declined as well.
I love Farrells ice cream parlor. Its fun nostalgic and pleasant atmosphere as a person can enjoy a delicious creamy and cold treat whether it's a sundae shake or malt. Now they have them only in California but when I was younger as a teenager there were some locations in Wisconsin..I also travelled to California and the experience is great. And if you like this type of atmosphere and also I cant forget the very friendly and efficient staff that make all the customers experience even more comfortable and delightful. So if you get a chance and you travel to California. you might want to make a point to go there and check it out for yourself!
Good food, good service and GREAT ice cream. This is their last night and then they are gone, all but one store.
I wish they had had more business so they could stay open.
This place is so much fun. You just have to appreciate the staff with all of the songs they sing, the big Todo they do for the giant mountains of ice cream like the Volcano or the Zoo.
Do you remember Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure? This is the place where Bill's little brother took Napoleon for ice cream and he ordered the Ziggy Piggy (they changed the names), it was actually the Zoo.
Going to miss this place and especially the staff. Love and hugs to you all.
We stopped by to celebrate my daughter's birthday after leaving Castle Park. The staff was friendly but it was very busy, so the service was slow. They sang different birthday songs to different customers. Our waiter sang a Justin Bieber birthday song. We ordered the ice cream nachos which my kids enjoyed. It came with 3 scoops of ice cream and waffle cone pieces as the "tortilla chips". My daughter also received a free scoop of vanilla ice cream with whip cream, sprinkles and a cherry on top for her birthday. All my kids left happy.
This place is a joke. We went to celebrate my nephew's birthday. We had a reservation and was seated in a timely manner however , it was 105 outside and where they say us apparently had no ac. We all were sweating, so we asked if they could adjust the ac they told us that where they say us there was no ac. So you mean to tell me no ac for a party of 20 & you didn't even tell us this before we sat down. We notified the manager. All he said was yeah I'm sorry the host sat you there. How do you think my employees feel. Well sir I'm sorry for your employees however we are paying customers. We spend $ 230 not even a discount or anything. Then as we are leaving the server and either host or whomever she was in a green shirt made a comment about maybe we should have gave them more ice on there drink to cool them off. That's unnecessary. We will not be back. Just ridiculous to be treated like as if they do t want our business. Thanks for reading
Sincerely
An upset customer
Worst meal and service we have ever had. Salad tasted like it sat under a heat lamp. Hot sandwich was cold. Waitress could not give us silverware because they were washing it and did not have enough. My kids never got their birthday ice cream because the waitress was to busy. Ask for BBQ sauce and never received. Could not get napkins because waitress never can back. This was the worst service and food.
Amazing service. We got Grant T as our server and he was amazing. Over all everyone was great and the food was amazing.
Normally we love this place. When we come visit from Texas this is where my dad loves to take my kids but this trip was awful. Food wrong. Food late. Never showed. Extra chargesBad waitress. Sad day for Farrell's today. Such a disappointment
The wait staff are enthusiastic and ready to help you celebrate any occasion; you will hear them singing on and off throughout your entire meal.
Food is excellent albeit a bit expensive.
Very large menu with diverse options.
