Al's has been a favorite of mine for years. Al is the best, and I think his prices are the best. Great breakfast place, cash only, and definitely worth a visit.

Very good breakfast. There is usually a wait, but the line moves quickly. The blueberry cornbread is out of this world, and the service is always very good. Remember to bring cash, as credit cards are not accepted.

The restaurant is connected to a golf driving range and golf shop.

I've been coming to Al's since they were a little shack off of Swan St. 30 yrs later my visits have been very disappointing. There is one waitress who has really put a damper on this place. I will not name her, but she knows who she is. Very unfriendly and at times, just rude. This is not the Al's my entire family has enjoyed over all these years. As for the rest of the waitresses, they are exceptional at what they do. Very customer friendly and engaging and always a delight.
So as I wrap this up, my family and I are at IHOP eating breakfast because of our experience with this waitress. 😢

Al's Family Diner is simply the best breakfast diner in New England, hands down. The customer service is great and the food is always excellent. The only thing they could do to improve their service is to accept payment methods other than cash.

This is the best! Hands down my fiancé's favorite place for pancakes. We have yet to find any place that's even close! Staff is so nice and always keeps the coffee coming. My family has been going here over a decade now and it's always such a great meal! We're actually heading over there soon for breakfast and pancakes 😍😍
