Very underwhelming from previous reviews and what we thought we might experience. A friend and I recently did the "ghost hunt" tour at the Farnsworth the last weekend before Halloween. We explored the cellar of the house and "the grove" in Gettysburg. One thing they don't mention in the description of the cellar experience is that it is done in the pitch black darkness. This is something they should make people aware about before they sign up for it as some people might be uncomfortable with this aspect. Our tour guide was also quite full of herself. She was stressing way too many stories and way too much about "what happened the night before," setting our groups expectations way too high, only to be let down my not really experiencing any activity. If the history of the house is true, it is quite interesting, but again, our tour guide talked a little bit too much about her own experiences with her own business and seemed to be bored with my group's "lack of enthusiasm" by the end of the tour. Overall, I would say try another tour company.

True history in architecture and war for sure, but paranormal not so much .We decided on Ghost Hunt from 9-11 and most of it was in basement of the old house, got to use devices like ghost boxes, temp meters and evp things but all and all the stories were very corny and sounded too fabricatedglad we did the tour and defiantly hinders to the first time tourist (in which we were) but next time would suggest doing the cheaper house tour and a carriage ride :)

The tour was mediocre at best. He was not entertaining at all and his story's sounded made up. On the other hand, the younger blonde receptionist was extremely rude and sassy. Honestly, if it was my company I would have fired the girl that spoke to us because she had such terrible customer service. In a very sassy voice she said "well. Patients is key." As we were just asking what time the tour was going to leave because we had been waiting. As we spoke to the manager about her attitude, she sat there and smiled and pretended she was innocent and did nothing wrong. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Great ghost walks: shine a light on history and the paranormal activities that occur. Locals say that Gettysburg is a ghost town with a history problem, and the guide shares a ton of stories. Go for the extended tour, well worth the money and is still cheap. Lovely way to spend an evening.

We went on the tour where they give you a bag of crap and send you out on the school property to look for ghosts. It was terrible and the guide was paranoid about cops showing up. Either the cops are assholes or your trespassing i guess. Dont go on it.

While I am not sure why people are talking about food on a ghost tour page, I am sure that this is the BEST ghost tour company in Gettysburg. One of only two (2) that will take you into a haunted building. Great in the rain or on a clear night. The story tellers are incredibly knowledgeable and great at what they do.
