Once you figure out the tricks to getting into and out of this place it was really nice. I can't say enough about how quiet this place was! Very peaceful. The breakfast room and sitting area is rather small but very doable and clean. The room had a slight musty smell when you first entered but the room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of good pillows and towels. The front desk was quick to get us checked in. A very good value for newly updated rooms. We found a great little pizza spot close by called Spin Pizza and an excellent cookie place called Tiff's Treats. It is a great location for restaurants close by with a Pappasita's and Pappadeaux just about 5 minutes away. Thank you!
Just no. Arrive at a reasonable evening hour to check in, but no one at the desk. After five minutes, yelling into the back actually got an associate to come to the front desk. That's a poor experience. The in-room experience only builds on that first impression. Black mold in the shower, smoking in the room next door (told the front desk, but no change). Woke up the next morning to a friendly bed bug. That's right—that pesky bug that likes to travel home with you and infest your entire home, sucking your blood and breeding. If you've never dealt with bed bugs, count yourself very lucky. If you find one in your hotel room, your clothes and belongings are all potentially compromised. The bedbug I found was climbing up the ironing board by the bathroom while I was brushing my teeth. If they're in the bathroom, they're hanging out in the bed area too.
How did Marriott respond to this? When I brought the front desk the live bug in a Ziploc bag (after waiting the obligatory several minutes for an associate, of course), they did HALF of the right thing. They refunded the charge for the night, but did so unapologetically. A 30-minute call of waiting and redirecting with the Marriott 800 number yielded the same lack of care, instead of being completely embarrassed that their rooms were harboring blood sucking bugs. How is this not a problem to customer service agents? Bed bugs are practically indestructible, which is terrible for guests but just as bad for the hotel! Anyway, if you're considering staying here, perhaps you've already severely lowered your expectations and you'll be fine with cigarette smoke, a failed AC, mold, and bed bugs. If you've still got high hopes for this hotel, though, your hopes are misplaced.
It’s a little bit dated but I actually enjoyed my 3-nights here. The beds were very comfortable; I slept great. It was quiet. The breakfast layout and food was very good. The bathroom/ shower and the overall orange-ish color scheme need to be updated though. Overall though I was pleasantly surprised here
The staff are the bomb dignity. James was working the night desk and helped my fiance and I out with a great room and even better customer service. The man deserves a raise! It's not too often you run into people that are kind and courteous to out of state strangers! Very clean, good amenities-super close to the new Toyota music factory
Always a very comfortable stay and one of the best values out there! Rooms are comfortable, clean and always with courteous & friendly service!
Area is good and this hotel is better than comparable hotels in the area. Julius was extremely helpful. Honestly he was much more welcoming than some 4 star hotel desks that I have been to.
Nice hotel, stayed here for three nights. I loved the breakfast! But my favorite part was the fruit water they had available for guests. Thank you! It was also nice to receive a welcome gift for being a marriott rewards member.
I must say this hotel has been everything like a second home to me being that I am an evacuee from houston. The General Manager Lucy has taken extremely good care of me and has been very sensitive to my needs since I first checked in a week ago so thank you thank you thank you. The hotel itself is very nice well kept and beds are extremely comfy!!I will recommend this hotel to anyone!!
I totally loved the place. Incredibly nice and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. This hotel is smoke free and unlike other places I've been to, the room and hallways were not smelly. Breakfast area is a bit small and gets packed easily but definitely something I can live with.
I had an emergency trip to Dallas and by the end of the day I realized I didn't have a place to stay. I found this hotel in one of those travel apps but instead of using the app to make a reservation, I decided to just drop by and I was surprised they offered me the same deal without having to go online.
Bottom line this place is a real best value considering the price I paid for a one-bed room!
Next time I visit Dallas this hotel will be #1 in my list of places to stay.
Seems pretty good so far. Not such a bad neighborhood, lobby was friendly. Rooms nice and clean. Smells a little funny though.
The service was great. Our room was extremely clean. The furniture was very nice and well maintained. The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained. I have no complaints about this hotel. Plan on staying here again in the future.

My family & I use this hotel almost every time we visit the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I had minor issues but none like this. If I could give 0 stars on this visit I would. We rented the King suite & my wife & daughter found was setting up the room and the floor was sticky, trash and food under the bed found a bra. That was only in one area. There were hairs in the tub in one room. Tried to switch to two other rooms and they had raoches in them. If I could I would give this hotel a -10 star -⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐
Probably won't be returning here! They have really have gone down hill
The bathtub looks like someone just got out and the seal around it is soft and coming off. The staff is extremely polite and so willing to help. The shuttle driver was also amazing and prompt
I was only there for a layover that bad weather caused, I was exhausted when I arrived. I was hungry and upset I couldn't make it home that night. The guy working the front desk was amazing and immediately saw I was pretty stressed. Besides making check in quick and easy he wanted to know if I had eaten, was I thirsty, and what could he do to make my night better. He did everything he could to ensure that I was comfortable. He really brightened my stressful day.
