I got in to town pretty late. The csr was super quick and I was in my room within 5 minutes. Rooms are nice. I'm good with this being my hotel while in Sandusky in the future.

Well let’s start out saying the service was pretty good. We were in town for a football tournament with the youth football league. After checking my room I noticed they had bug proff mattress covers and after looking much harder I found a dead bed bug on under the mattress. Next we looked at a different room and found another dead bed beg they gave us our money back but this was a very inconvenience because we had to move 20 kids. We left in the middle of the night.

Staff is friendly and accommodations are what you would expect from staying with any lower category Marriott brand hotel. Rooms were not up to date as some Fairfield inns you may come across but were still comfortable. Warning: if your room is in the front of the hotel, you will be able to hear the vehicles coming down Milan road, so if you believe that may bother you, you should request a room near the rear of the hotel.

This place was horrible, be careful with your children, my husband found a HUGE spider on the bed at this hotel, he told the manager about it and she said there was nothing she could do. Then as soon as they got back home we found a bedbug, obviously it came from this hotel because we've never even seen a bed bug, nor have we ever had a problem like this before. I just read some reviews about this hotel and they have a big with bed bugs, I wish I had saw these reviews before I booked this room. We usually stay at Marriott hotels because of their standards, but we've never had a problem like this before, I was very very disappointed. My husband thought this would be a quick, end of the summer short cedar point vacation and it's turned into a nightmare. Please be careful!!!

Its your run of the mill low end hotel/motel. Continental breakfast is the same you can get anywhere. Same with amenities. Pretty much its just a place to lay your head down.

Went for a quick cedar point weekend bachelor party. We don't get crazy but it was a great hotel for a quick dip in the pool and a place to play boardgames and eat pizza.

When I arrived, the staff was quick to get me checked in, and very friendly. They covered all my questions (wifi password, breakfast time, pool hours and the like) before I could even ask them. My room was clean and spacious. Water was hot and stayed hot, which my girlfriend loved. The bed was comfortable, and the power outlets on the bedside lamps were very convenient. All-in-all, would gladly stay again.

The staff is very pleasant and we got a suite upgrade that I really appreciate. The shower drains very slowly and the fan in the bathroom is very loud. Otherwise, very clean and nice.

The location is amazing, great places to eat within a ten minute drive. Their service is kind and quick to respond. The rooms are nice and the bathroom are sparkling clean upon walk in.

Much better than the old Fairfield. This was just remodeled and is very up-to-date. Comfortable beds, AC is decent, showers are nice, and staff is friendly.

Our worst hotel stay ever. We arrived Friday afternoon to check in. Signs directed us to the side of the building for check-in. While in line we learned that the breakfast area was being remodeled and while they "hoped" it would be ready the next morning, the pool and fitness center would not be open. The lady checking in argued and finally headed to her room. When she was down the hall a bit, Deborah, an employee, said, " It's on the website!" (We looked later, couldn't find it). The next guy wanted a refund. It was now our turn. My wife thought she had paid ahead of time, but apparently did not, shame on her. We were instructed it was 161 per night and the total was 410. After questioning the math, we could only have a receipt with a breakdown at check out. I paid with a bank card so we could just get out of a contentious situation, hoping we could fix it later. We went to our room and found 2 things; a worn pair of black women's nylons on the floor and a letter from the manager dated 18 days prior explaining how excited they were about the new breakfast area, but the pool would be shut down because of it. We started looking for a room at another hotel but they were all booked. We decided to stay quiet and hope for the best. I have a rewards card and when the desk situation seemed to slow down I went to ask if we could add the nights to it. From Deborah's reaction, it was the most complicated thing anyone has ever asked her to do. She lectured me on how the process worked, I didn't think it was that difficult. On the bright side, I did get my rewards points. Later that night, we decided to explore the hotel and I am still trying to understand why the pool and fitness center needed to be closed for my family's safety during construction, which ended about 5. They were able to open the breakfast area Saturday morning in the midst of dangers tiling presents, for microwaved eggs and meats (watery and cold in the center). I will say the breakfast staff was friendly, they were pleasant and said good morning, best moment of the stay. We were out all day Saturday. Woke up Sunday and found the bill under the door. Total was 366.32. Checked bank account on phone, charged 410. According to Deborah that's the incidental charge and my bank will release it in three to five days. I should call them Monday to find out when it will happen. $43.68 incidental charge. Most places ask for a credit card and charge you at most a buck. We have stayed in hotels over 40 nights in the last 3 years and this was BY FAR the worst experience, it's the first time I've rated a place under average and usually I feel bad giving under a 4. This hotel should charge by the hour and that's probably generous. Never again! Pathetic!
