One of our favorite places to stay in Gatlinburg. We have great family memories here. The view is spectacular. Quality, maintenance, and cleanliness are going down hill.
The service was great but the rooms could use some updating.
Literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Unless you want your vacation ruined, don't stay here. Johnson's Inn has a better location and is usually the same price. I would not wish this place on my worst enemy--full of bugs, filthy rooms, keys cards don't work most of the timethe list goes on and on. When I complained, they did nothing.
Chalet themed motel. Probably hasn't been updated since the 70s. The floor had several burn holes in the carpet and some of the light switches didn't work, but the room was huge and had a good view of the city.
Rooms were outdated pillows were tiny and room was kindof creepy.. everything just needs to be updated and cleaned..stuck in the 80s
Charming rooms great view quiet & quaint
I have stayed here with my family of five. Both times (summer/winter) we have stayed at both of their townhouses. We loved both of them! My wife and I stayed in one of the bedrooms (king size bed) while my two teenagers and younger child stayed in the other bedrooms (two queen size beds) Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms and balconies. Therefore, providing privacy. Both townhosues have fireplaces. However, this does not mean that there will always be firewood available and it might give the townhouses a slight smell but it's normal. The fabulous chalet is on a hill which made it difficult to get to when it snowed heavily. First time we stayed here the staff was beyond friendly which is very important to us but the second time staff was friendly but slightly unhelpful. It is a short walk from downtown Gatlinburg and right beside the tram to Ober. We will definately return!
