Avi is nice person and good friend also .
Scary experience, undependable staff..unless it's time to pay.
minus 5 stars
They had the office locked even though it said it was open and no one answered the phone!
Stayed here 6 hours I had ants on the end table the pillows and the bed asked to be moved to a new room the room he sends me to has mold and water damage the place needs to be torn down
he refused to give my money back for the 6 hrs but gave me the rest of my money back for the week.
Avoid this place at all cost
The scariest hotel ever. and deserves negative stars if there were such a thing. It felt a little like "Deliverance". Once checked in and headed to our room, it was obvious that it is a long term renter's motel with some pretty seedy looking characters. The first clue that things were going to be bad was walking past rooms with torn draperies, charcoal grills, ice chests and cigarette butts lining the sidewalk. We walked past one room where a person and a pit bull were obviously passed out on the bed. No offense to the poor dog.
This was the last room available in the area on Memorial Weekend. We opened our room's door to be greeted with the kind of thick mold smell that one might expect in a 1950's Alabama motel, unchanged 50 years later. WE decided we'd rather sleep in our car. Went up front & requested a refund which was never reversed!
The venue was ok but definitely needs some exposure to make the bar a real event.
Staff was nice, but amenities were below average. Poor/unreliable plumbing that uses well water. No wifi. Cheap old linen.
