Explore Van Co. is owned by a scum bag by the name of Steve Kessler. I grew up in the Warsaw, Indiana area, and one of my parents worked here for decades, and then was tossed aside like a piece of trash. I knew many people that were treated horribly by this company, but I won't speak for these people, but I can assure you everything I'm writing here is the truth. I'll refer to my parent from here as RIP. Much of my family still live in the Warsaw area, which is why I won't mention RIP's name, nor my own name, out of respect for my family.

RIP, as I already stated, worked for Steve Kessler at Explorer for decades. It was a regular occurrence to lay people off for a short time due to business slowing down. This time was a little different because there was no approximate word on when people would be called back to work. RIP called Explorer one day after wondering why it was taking so long this time around to call people back to work. RIP was told it would be "any day now." Months went by being told the same thing over and over up until a several days before Christmas. This call RIP was told your ham, which was something given to employees for Christmas, was "sent out to you." RIP waited for days for the box to arrive, and then after two weeks, and then realized it wasn't coming.

RIP hadn't been feeling well for months leading up the realization that a call back wasn't coming. I told RIP over and over to go to the doctor, but because of lack of health insurance since being laid off, but RIP was broke from not working. This is the point RIP began looking for work with a company that offered health insurance. Within one month RIP became so ill that working a full time job was no longer an option. RIP did take a part time job, but could barely get through a four hour shift without nearly collapsing. Luckily my income allowed me to help RIP go to the doctor, but by then it was too late. RIP would be diagnosed with a terminal disease that could have been avoided had Explorer Van Co. at least had the decency to simply say we won't be calling you back to work so another job with benefits could be found in time. When RIP passed away I told myself there will never be a day that goes by where I won't tell someone what Steve Kessler did to our family. I've had the displeasure of meeting Steve Kessler on several occasions, and I can assure you that this man is not worthy of being called a piece of garbage.

I can't express the hate I feel for Kessler, and what he did to RIP, and to countless others after their years of faithful service to Explorer. A short time ago when I was a GM for a large Chicago automotive dealer, I was visited by Steve's son trying to peddle their junk vans to our company. Looking at this guy and hearing him speak brought all these bad memories back, and all I could get out was "not interested." I believe both of these men are two of the most horrible individuals to ever walk the face of the earth. I believe that they would walk by a burning building full of children because they see a penny lying on the sidewalk ahead of them.

Stay away from this company, or anything they're selling, because you will regret the day you heard their name. I now have the pleasure to have a great job, awesome family, and I have the pleasure of having access to people that Explorer would only dream of meeting. I work for one of the worlds biggest and best automotive groups in the world where I have the pleasure of telling people what horrible people own Explorer, and what a terrible mistake it would be to own one of their vans. Bob Kessler would roll over in his grave knowing what has become of the company he started.

    What comes around goes around!

Not even worth one star. This company is not accountable, there word is different from there actions! Waiting over a month for my van to be finished and still don't have it! Excuse after excuse on why it's not back yet, and they don't return phone calls! Will never use them again or recommend them!
