Fun place to bring young kids for an afternoon of creative hands-on activities. If you're a Wichita-area resident, I highly recommend the family membership. If you have a family and plan to go more than twice a year, a membership is the way to go. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

It is definitely fun for younger children. We took our 2.5y/o son there and I think we stayed for nearly 3 hours! There is plenty to do to spark their imagination and peak their curiosity. We will definitely return.

Went here with a girlfriend as a date, and I'd definitely recommend others do the same. The place is obviously geared towards children, but its fun regardless. It's a unique activity for the cost of a movie

We've been to this museum lots of times with our young family (ages 3-10), and they always enjoy it. The focus of the museum is hands on science learning. Our kids especially enjoy the water exhibit and the flight exhibit. Some of the exhibits could use maintenance, but overall there's lots to see and do here.

Always enjoy visiting and seeing the newest traveling exhibit and the Kansas in Miniature permanent exhibit. Something for most ages.
Some of the travelling exhibits like the current one don't completely live up to the hype for adults but still somewhat interesting to see the history and science behind the heroes.
The TARDIS, Batman statue, Superman and batmobile replica were to me the coolest in the Hall of Heroes. I like this Wichita museum.response / report this review -

There are lots of neat exhibits here but for a Saturday afternoon it did not seem like there was nearly enough staff. Tons of rowdy kids running and screaming everywhere with no adult supervision. I was so irritated after the 12th time my toddler was nearly bowled over that we left. At least I was using a reciprocal membership from St Louis Science Center and didn't have to pay. We are at museums and zoos weekly and I've never seen this anywhere else.

I've enjoyed the many fantastic exhibits at Exploration Place over the years. I took my daughter to just about everything as she was growing up. It's a wonderful place for children and parents to bond and a treasure in our community.

By now, I think most of us know what the Exploration Place has to offer--highly interactive exhibits, some permanent, others limited; educational movies; science shows; etc. But a recent experience truly impressed me. This summer, I worked with students with Down Syndrome. The Exploration Place opened early for us so we could do some science experiments with our students before going to the museum when it opened at 10. The staff was more than kind and accommodating, and put our minds at ease. The experience was great!

Great place for the kids. TONS of hands on for hours of fu. The only problem I had with our visit was we had tickets to the 4 o'clock show. I was told by the guy that it was a 25-minute show. Imagine our surprise when the show started 25 minutes late. All the children in the dome were getting very antsy and frustrated. With starting at for the children would have still had 30 minutes to explore once the show was over. Instead we spent the 30 minutes waiting for a show that started late. It caused our day to be over

A great educational venue where learning is fun. Definitely geared more for kids, most things adults would enjoy too. Do wish that there were more things for adults as we enjoy learning and exploring too.

There is something for every age here. Well worth the membership price. My kids love it, and the traveling exhibits keep it interesting over the long haul. I enjoy the exhibits, too. .

Was referred to the company for a job when interviewed ,c alled ,never heard anything in response not even a thanks for applying but we're not looking or were extending our search ,thanks for your time, i guess à should of béen coming on to the dept manager in order to get the job. The whole attitude did change when he asked the person that referred me if I was single. Other than that drama I was really looking forward to getting a job there look like a great fun place

The exploration place always has events going on. I mostly go with my daughter for her girl scout badge earning classes. They make learning fun. We always have a great time.

Great place for kids of all ages. Various permanent exhibits and shows plus travelling exhibits. Seasonal activities and camps. Main thing though cafe is more a snack bar don't count on it as main source of feeding hungry kids. Due to this recommend going after lunch and staying till the end. The dome has some great films on too
