I used to like Evergreen a lot. Their friday night fish fry was one of the best in the area.
What I don't like is their huge 'barn' of a dining area. I feel like we are in a concert venue - it's all open. It gets loud, and I'm sorry to be so obsessive - but I don't like to have so many people seeing me, and seeing me eat! PUT UP SOME PARTITIONS or something!
Plus, in the last few years, the food quality has gone down a bit. And, don't get it 'to go' because you're paying 'all you can eat' prices for a 'only 1/2 of what you want' portion.response / report this review -

The Evergreen Country Club has a super Friday Fish Fry, a Wisconsin staple! We had a family dinner with 12 and it came in under $150. Lots of choices, well prepared, and well served. You can't go wrong for a Friday Night Fish Fry at The Evergreen Country Club.

Well worth the 30 minute drive from town, this course offers 27 holes of well maintained well thought out golf. We come here often for their scrambles and we love it. Incredible value for money. All 27 with a steak cook out and prizes for 70 bucks or thereabouts. The staff is fantastic and the clubhouses provide everything you'll need. One of the best value golfing experiences in South East Wisconsin.

I highly recommend Evergreen Country Club. If you’re looking to enjoy a game of golf, you’ll feel right at home here, with its tree-lined fairways strategically placed bunkers and water features. It’s also a great location to host your event, with a banquet room overlooking the golf course and an outdoor pavilion- perfect for casual events. Either way, you’ll experience the highest level of hospitality and service from all staff!

This course never handles tee times correctly. I have called in the past to confirm a time and day -- only to call again the day before and am told they have a scramble or an outing and they did not have my reservation. This has happened to me two times! Very frustrating! The people taking the calls are just not able to review available times. Extremely difficult

Really good fish fry! If you are showing up between 5-8pm you may want reservations though as the seating does fill up quickly.

Very good fish fry. Not only is it getting harder to find all-u-can-eat, but including broiled as well as fried in the deal is extremely uncommon. Both were good and priced more reasonably than a lot of places that don't even offer it as all-u-can-eat. Our server, Susan, was friendly and accommodating. They only take reservations for parties of 9 or more and the place gets packed, so expect to wait for a bit.
