Quite. Good facilities. Very friendly. The river was amazing but very shallow, which was great for my three small children.

Roads were a bit rough, but other than that this camp was great. One night it was a little loud, but every other night it was super quiet. Free mini golf and board game library. Laundry was inexpensive and the dryer worked great. All the people working here are really nice too.

The facilities were clean and the campground was dark at night, but the place is just by the side of the road with car noise and our campsite was across a stagnant stream from someone's house. We lit a nice fire with the wood sold there and slept in our tent.

I would have rated this place 4 stars, but, while the woman who checked us in was very nice, another woman who worked there HARASSED us on the way out to tell us we had put garbage in the wrong bin. She accosted us as if we thought were were getting away with something when in fact we couldn't find the dumpster. We went back to take our trash out of the bin, still couldn't find the dumpster, and just drove away *with* our trash. I had apologized for missing the dumpster and the woman had complained about how much more work it was if they had to empty the bins. The bins had other people's trash in them anyway so we saved her no work and all she got for remanding us was a negative review.

I called up the front desk before leaving this review and she was apologetic over the incident. She subsequently called back to remind me that we were given a double site for the price of one. She also wanted me to note that she had brought us a cooking grate for the fire pit, since it was lacking. But the grate didn't fit the pit and we wound up borrowing a kind neighbor's personal grate.

So maybe this is all more than you wanted to know (or read), but here it is.

Friendly service and very comfortable tent campsites. We only stayed for one night, but I would definately recommend this site to anyone looking for something with a little more privacy and space.

This is our 5th camping season and we hope to come back for many more! Our grandkids love to visit us here. Our camping neighbors are good people who become family. The owners treat everyone like extended family members. Laid back and relaxing for me, fun and adventurous for my grandkids!

Epsom Valley is a tent-camper's find! Have camped here three times and been delighted each time. Owners are genuinely welcoming and friendly, the tent sites are excellent, and the bathrooms and showers are great. Plusit is an easy walk to a nice variety of good, reasonable restaurants: Chinese, pizza and classic American, if you are not in the mood for cooking breakfast or dinner. This campground has personality, fun woods and location: definitely five stars!
