Complete garbage. If I could leave less than a 1 star rating I would! I am on the "pay as you go" daily option let me tell you. RIP. OFF. But I'm not really sure if other options are betterI'm going to assume they aren't! I travel about 50% of the time. When I was actually at my apartment, my bills would be lower than when I was traveling. Explanation? I was told it's because of estimated and actual readings. What is the point of an estimated reading that is ALWAYS wrong and then screws your customers? I wound be interested in finding out how much money I was ripped off by this process. I recently moved out of my apartment -- called to get service turned off and guess what? Conveniently they need DAYS to get someone out there. I bet if I didn't pay my bill it would take MINUTES for you to click the button and turn off my services. You weren't even going to lose the account - all you had to do was transfer it back to the apartment complex's name. I was also told that it was a $1.50/day minimum. While I was moved out of my apartment from Friday through Wednesday when my service was turned off and ONLY my fridge was running my bill was $2.50+/day. WHAT? Nobody is there. The heat is off. The lights are off. NOTHING is plugged in. It's too bad people are forced into using your terrible services. I hope you enjoyed the last $15 I'll ever have to pay you. At least buy your miserable staff some cheeseburgers or something so they feel better when they are stealing customers' money!

I'm having a problem with my electric going dim and bright again Everytime the wind blows. I tried calling the emergency power outage number and of course no one is there to answer a phone. The live chat is useless to but it says "we're here to help you 24 hours a day". Worst company ever.

Yes - I agree the automated phone service isn't the greatest - but..

We lost power on a holiday weekend and the truck arrived within 30 minutes and had us back online in less than an hour. To me that's GREAT service! And the lineman was super courteous.

Worst power providers ever. Do we have a choice though? NOPE! And they know it. Paid bill just to have power still cut off an hour later and they fought with me to get Me to pay 25 for them to press a button to send the reconnect signal. Insanity Truly! And if you need a day or two cuz your over by $1 you're screwed. Dead of winter 10degrees n yo ass gon freeze! Absolutely no understanding and they still haven't done away with paymentis. Automated payment service. Worst ever n i wish someone would buy them out. I didn't think it could get any more intolerable than city of Statesville but.here I am doing a Google review to hopefully save someone else the stress. It's worth living somewhere less desirable to have better electric company!!!

My daughter has been trying to get power to her house for over 5 weeks . Every time you schedule someone to come out , they look at it and say two to three weeks ! No one will tell you what day they will come out or even if they are coming ! WORST SERVICE EVER !!!!!!!

I'd give them less than one star if I could. I moved into my house that has this company as my power company for almost 2 years now, and it's almost a monthly occurince that the power goes out and will be off almost the entire day. Wish I could get Duke Power back as my provider. Not happy with this company what so ever.

We have had nothing but bad experiences with this company.
Over the weekend (when it snowed) they "couldnt get a reading" for 3 days.
Then THURSDAY (today) i get charged $56 because they finally got the usage for those 3 days. Works out to $20.40 each day in electric.
    How convenient for them.
And ofcourse they come back with 'pay it or it will be shut off at any moment.
Absolutely horrible company and absolutely horrible service.
