I have lived in Mountlake Terrace most of my 64 years and I can say the consistency is phenomenal. Today we picked up pepper jack brauts, meatloaf mix, zesty Italian sausage, country sausage, cube steaks and provolone cheese. If you haven't tried them you are missing out. They also carry the largest inventory of sauces.

Lots of choice, fresh and frozen meats - good quality, many varietys of cheeses and cold cuts, along with hundreds of hot sauces and rubs decent prices. And a few other goodies as well. Well worth a trip! (even if just to read the labels of hot sauce - very entertaining!)

I come here about twice a week. My dog is on an all raw diet and they have everything I need here except his supplements (Mud Bay). They are usually busy so be prepared to wait or push your way to the front of the counter. They have a big staff, 95% of them are super nice and helpful. The front meat case is typical, great cuts of beef, chicken, and pork. No speciality stuff in case its all in the back freezer. Here they have duck, venison, alligator. I like this section because I can get my dogs hearts, necks, livers, etc. They are so cheap! I stick to the cheaper cuts like ground beef and top round for him but the expensive steaks look so good and MARBLED. Chicken leg quarters are a good price just lots of skin. I love this place I've been going for almost 3 months now.

I've purchased many ribs from Double DD Meats over the years for my company cooking events. They always prepare to our specification and take care of us. Just picked up a Kobe brisket for a very reasonable price and it was delicious. They have a huge selection of rubs, spices and sauces, so don't expect to get "in and out" quickly.

Always been very happy with the staff and their amazing selection. I'll put up with the 30 minute drive and horrible traffic just to get the meat I want at Double DD's.

Wonderful, great meat cuts, excellent selection of sandwich meats, jerky, cured meats and even exotic meats. Largest selection of hot sauces and rubs in the USA, just go and bring home bliss!

My husband and I went to check this place out now that we got our deep freezer. Great source for raw dog food. Amazing selection! They have bone already in the ground meats they mix for dogs/pets so you don't really have to worry about it! Organ meats are right next to it and they're all frozen so you don't have to think about anything icky being in it. Friendly, flexible staff with a good sense of humour! Huge selection of hot sauces, BBQ sauces, meats, cuts, etc. Anything your heart desires! (Even vegetarian chili)

Absolutely the best butcher shop around. I'm a line cook but haven't dealt much with meats. Started buying from there recently (and family has been buying from there since I was a kid) and have been learning how to properly cook meats. Beef tenderloin is my favorite cut so far. Absolutely delicious stuff thanks double d!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Incredible selection of meats, cheeses, bbq sauce and various seasoning. I promise you that you've never seen so much anywhere. Incredible staff always there to help you and even custom cut your stuff. I only go here for my meats. Knowing where it comes from is the best part of it.

Came here for the hot sauces. Left with $80 worth of hot sauces. It was awesome. And everyone was super nice and excited to be at their jobs which is rare these day. Will definitely be back for more!

There is a reason that when you go in there on a Saturday afternoon it looks like the betting windows during the Kentucky Derby. Throngs of people loading up on high quality reasonably priced carnivore goodies. The interesting thing here is it's half butcher shop half hot sauce store. Literally thousands of hot sauces to tempt your palate. We buy what's called a locker box. It's a collection of a wide variety frozen meats. Ribeye steaks, bacon, sausage, pot roasts, hamburger, hot dogs all for $114. Comparatively we priced the same amount for $175 at Safeway. You have to see this place to believe how great it is.
