3.5 stars not to crowded. Nice staff little older doesn't have the new seating, bathrooms need updated. Decent price.

Not the greatest ever but not the worst either. Basically a normal movie theater. Sometimes the picture is bigger than the screen which can be annoying. Concessions obviously overpriced but where isn't it? I have yet to go there and the place not be decently clean. With the whole love seat theaters coming out all over though. This type of theater is definitely dated

We live in an era where we are able to watch movies at home on brilliant tv's with great sound systems, but I personally still enjoy the big screen movie theater experience. It is unfortunate when a multiplex shows that it doesn't really care about that experience. That is what you get in Elkhart, Indiana at AMC 14.
Viewing Thor: Ragnarok was a horrible experience for me at AMC Elkhart 14. Apparently they feel the need to save money on projector bulbs, because the projection was so dim the characters on the screen were often just silhouettes in scenes never intended to be so dark. The seats in AMC Elkhart 14 have to be among the most outdated and uncomfortable movie theater seats anywhere in the country.
Movie theater chains should be concerned about providing a quality experience for viewers to keep them coming to the multiplex. With the state of AMC Elkhart 14, the loud and clear message from AMC to the people of Elkhart is that you are much better off watching movies elsewhere, and that is certainly what I'll do from now on.response / report this review -

It is OK. Theater is fine and generally clean. Standard way over priced concessions!!! The staff has always been nice and respectful to me. It is the only show in town but I wish they would provide reasonable concession prices. I can get a six-pack for the price of a medium soda!!!

As a former employee here I can say that the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The manager are great people and everyone there tries their hardest to keep it nice and clean. So I have no idea how some people say they are rude and dirty. However I do understand the complaints about price and needing updates. This is out of the employee's and managers hands. They can not do anything about either. AMC will NOT budge or even listen to them They give the managers little to no money to update. And give them no say so on prices. If either of these bother you, please, please, please, fill out a survey at the website listed above and tell them about what you wish would change. Hopefully if enough people complain they will change the prices and update the theater.

Good matinee prices, and all regular showings are $5 on Tuesdays. Recently added a self serve drink station, so grabbing a quick refill during a movie is more convenient than it used to be. Seats can be uncomfortable during a longer movie.

They now have unlimited drink refills. No matter the cup side you purchase. It's a self serve drink station so the choices are bigger and better than ever. The prices on everything else seem to have gone down as well.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I enjoy most of it. It's definitely less crowded than most theaters in the area. I buy the yearly every popcorn bucket every year and get refills for 4.50 also don't tell anyone ☺️ but if you sign up for AMC stubs and enter your stubs number into your Fandango account they waive the convenience fee (shhhh).

Haven't been to this theater for over 13 years. Am in town visiting my two daughters and five grandchildren. Decided to take them to the movies. For 8 people and four large popcorn buckets with 8 large drinks it only cost 135 dollars. Clean theater, great movie and plenty of seating. We all had a wonderful time. Plus we had free refills on both popcorn and drinks. We signed up for the theater card that gives you refills. It was also free.

Haven't been here in a while.
Most of the time it's awesome.
Unfortunately I must admit it's not the best staff at times. Movie was stuck repeating the same 5 seconds for over 20 minutes and when someone finally did come, the shut it down with no refund.response / report this review -

It's convenient and not terribly priced, all things considered. The lack of stadium seating and the single couples cuddler chair (that had a big gash with cushioning falling out) on the end of one aisle are both signs of its age, but the picture and sound were both without issue, and the seats were still comfortable for a two hour film.
There are better theaters in the area with better facilities, but the best theater in Michiana is on the far southwest side of South Bend (tucked inside the north/east bend of the bypass/31), and the rest don't offer much different from this (the Elkhart) one to stand out. With the current growth and revitalization of Elkhart, renovating this place might draw more attention.response / report this review -

The place is rundown. The seats aren't comfortable . The service is very friendly and fast. The picture is great but the sound is too loud in some and in others it's distorted. toothed do a all the latest movies, though I was disappointed the they didn't show The Case for Christ at this theatre.

Nothing fancy as far a theaters. Really liked that they had self-serve soft drinks and slushies. Our movie was not crowded for a Friday night which was really nice.

This building is getting a face-lift. All new concessions being installed. It has newer projectors for the high quality movies. 3d as well. Friendly staff. There is always a working police officer as well for security to handle the riff raff
