I had taken my car to "a dealership" and that "dealership" screwed up big time. I brought my car into Empire Sport West and they diagnosed the problems and got my car back to me in tip top shape. I feel safer knowing that they are my mechanics now. Thank you, Dave!

I’ve had my car worked on there several times I don’t think they once got it right, seals on my rear axle still leaked and I had them put a seatbelt in didn’t work I had to put a backseat in my Jeep didn’t put in the mounting bracket correctly, last time I brought my car home from the shop it was on fire within 15 minutes of my getting home. Now the guy claims I poured gas on it myself so the insurance isn’t covering it. What a piece of work. They certainly don’t stand behind their work. by the way I had the fire report there was no gas involved he hooked up the lines wrong from my carburetor and my exhaust manifold that he installed. And they’re not certified mechanics only one is so his website is lying.

For my auto needs for the last six years I have gone to Empire sports west for any car repairs or problems. One time my car stopped working in Sonoma on the Fourth of July! I had to get it towed late on a holiday all the way to Santa Rosa. I believe it was the alternator, but my car was ready by 10 AM the next morning! So impressed! Besides that, in the several other times I brought my car here, it’s been good work, fair prices, and nice service. Definitely recommend. I have an older sedan, not a sports car. You can trust the quality of work and value here. I don’t leave reviews often, but I feel like this place deserved it.

This place is an okay place if you don't have a brand new car. My Hyundai battery was switched out for a barely working Napa battery, I had black grease and grime all over my leather seats, I was told I needed a new fuel pump and come to find out they apparently needed to replace my water pump. Was told that they replaced my tensioner belt pulley but it sure doesn't sound like it. They will get you for what you have and not care one bit. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

Dave (the owner) was awesome! My 2012 VW Jetta needed the ignition housing replaced because the key wouldn't turn and he got it all done by the end of the next day! By the way, no easy task; he removed the entire steering wheel column. He also spent roughly 30 minutes with me on the phone discussing potential problems with my car, educating me, before I even decided to tow my car to Empire Sport West. Overall, great guy, cares about people, the community, and is not just trying to take your money. Absolutely will not overcharge you like the dealership mechanics will. Choose local small guys!
