If I could give this place 0 Stars I would. I'm a regular customer and how the concierge at the front desk spoke to me I will never be frequenting Empire Motel ever again I'm a customer and I deserve to be treated with respect. Telling me I'm wasting his time turning up the TV in the lobby as I'm trying to get my reservation straight. Never Again

Decent place, great price. Nothing elaborate, but nothing bad either. They do seem to have a weird Obsession About Pets - you have to sign off on a waiver that says you will spend hundreds if they catch you with a dog or cat in your room. They don't really explain it, and they don't take you at your word - my guess is they've had some kind of problem in the past, which now means they inflict this weirdness on every guest.

Great location to Atlantic City and things around to eat. The hotel itself is ok for it's price. Thin pillows etc but you know what you're getting. WiFi is weak but it works.

Guy in the office is very grumpy. Went there for a weekend, checked in about midnight the Friday night on Saturday my fiance and I left the hotel about 3 in the afternoon came back late the night when we got back bed wasn't made and dirty towels in bathroom from our shower in the morning. Call the front desk he said "beds aren't changed everyday" OK?? BUT DON'T THEY "MAKE THEM EVERYDAY"!!!!!!! luckily we had 2 beds in the room on the day we were to check out it was "11:05 am" and the owner came banging on the door " you have to leave now"!!!! Mind you I understand check out is at "11" but 5 minutes!!!!!!! NEVER GOING BACK HERE.

Absolutely terrible. They had a problem with my reservation and, rather than calling me to fix the issue (and it was a simple issue that could've been fixed in a minute), they simply cancelled my reservation and sent an e-mail an e-mail I didn't even see until I arrived because it was sent while I was en route to the hotel. Furthermore, the front desk clerk was extremely rude when I asked if there was anything that can be done (I expected there wasn't since there was a no vacancy sign in the front, but decided to ask in case they had some kind of backup for situations like this). I was lucky to find another last minute hotel one that was infinitely better in service this Empire Inn. Never EVER bothering with this hotel again.

Asked for a Non Smoking room, the room I was given smelled so strongly of smoke that my travel bag and clean clothes smelled like smoke when I left. Strike one. The "CONTINENTAL" breakfast was coffee and real orange juice (GOOD!) but the only food was tiny, bite sized cupcakes - no bagels or fruit of any kind, which is what "continental breakfast" usually means. Strike two.
A big selling point for me personally was the "on site laundromat" they advertised. There was one, but the washing machine was broken, which was just as well because the dryer was so filthy I would have never put my clean clothes in it anyway. Strike three, I'm glad to be outta there!! Will never return to this facility ever again.

Convenient location, lots of stores and restaurants around. Quick drive to AC. Very clean and spacious. Bad part was that they did not clean during stay and closed pool too early, should at least be open until 9 or 10pm. Did provide clean towels though.

I have never left a bad review in my life. When we checked in we gave them our credit cards and at the end of the process they carbon copied our credit cards which I couldn't understand why that was done. If you have a computer system the information should be in the system already. Told clerk that it was illegal and the response was I need to show it to my supervisor. When we got to the room the toilet water was rusty looking. The next day we took showers but the water smelled like led or rusty water. The maintenance could have been a little better as well. House keeping sucks because we had to ask for extra towels. The room never stayed warm either and had to burn the heating and cooling system the whole time. Didn't really sleep comfortable at all here. Oh yeah and breakfast was awful, had expired muffins and couldn't even get a simple spoon to eat my cereal. I will never stay here again.

Our stay here for one night was exactly what you would expect for the price. It was basic, and cheap. It was perfect. We got a king sized bed, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The continental breakfast was simply packaged cinnamon rolls, but at the price we paid, no complaints about it! There were 2 employees that we interacted with, and they were both very friendly. Thank you Empire Inn!
