I frequent this shop and have bought both a Bike and many accessories. I am rating it 5 stars as the service is always outstanding, the prices are competitive, and there is a large variety. Upon simply entering there is always someone immediately there to help and each representative is a true expert in their field.
Another BIG thing to note is the seemingly small to non-existent up-selling, this is a huge caveat in other places and has kept me coming back for honest mechanical help and accessory purchasing.
The best example of this is coming back to purchase new road biking shoes that would have likely cost in excess of $150 after the latch on one of the originals had broken. Instead of directing me over to the shoes and pointing out the best one to buy, they took the broken shoe, searched meticulously through their system and managed to find the correct latch. They then ordered it, texted me when it arrived just a few days later, and installed it for me for a 10th of the cost!
I live quite a distance (about 30 miles) from this store but go out of my way to drive there when I need just about anything bike related because of their excellent service, large selection, and great prices.response / report this review -

Just received our reconditioned touring bikes from Emerys Wauwatosa. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. We very much appreciate their attentive and friendly staff. Emery continues to provide a valuable and reassuring service in our community. Thank you Mr Emery and staff.

I came in looking for a decent hybrid to get started in cycling. Mitch helped me after a few minutes, which was perfect because they were really busy and I wanted to look around at all of their clearance gear. I explained my budget and he explained my options, which I had already researched but needed a bit of help understanding. I also knew they sold used bikes and there happened to be the exact size and model I wanted, hardly used, hardly a year old, for a great price. Mitch was so patient as to even teach me how to take my front wheel on and off so I could get it home. While he was finishing up the tuning after my full fitting, the owner explained he had just customized a bike for a young girl who had never been able to pedal due to her special needs - he was so proud of this job and the "game changer" the bike would be for the girl's physical ability - I felt like he was such a great businessman. I stumbled upon Emerys by accident, but it was such an impressive experience all around and I am so pleased with my new bike!

Second time I've stopped there in the past month. First time no customer service after 15 minutes so I left and thought it was a fluke. 2nd time same thing. Left and bought 2 bikes elsewhere that day. Nice shop, poor service.

I was recently in the area for an event and had a last minute mechanical come up. Emery's were incredibly helpful and Chris in the service department not only resolved my issue correctly, but took the time to explain to me why it happened. If in the area, I would absolutely recommend this shop.
