Went to look for a place to stay for the week and there was a lady living in a room with her window boarded up not cool they should have given her a new room it looks trashy. Staff where nice but the place its self did not look pleasant.

I tried to tough it out. No kids, no pets.
Corporate Halls Equities Group of Walnut CA purchased this ghetto and profits from slum lording. Their Corporate officer in charge of their 3 Las Vegas locations confirmed with me by phone that they are ill-equipped to provide Internet access or fix anything else not working in a given unit. On-site manager Jamie is the worst. Her unprofessionalism results in "we are severing our business relationship" letter, issued minutes after I renewed. A middle school bully mentality, endorsed by Corporate VP Renee Johnson. Clerks Latoya and Trinia also stated, "If you're not happy here, you should go elsewhere."
To my knowledge, if a tenant could, they would. (I am.) Christmas week/New Year's.
Their "Quality Control" agent, Janelle made efforts to fix things like unit airflow and hot water (grounds for being shut down and forcibly refunded by the Health Dept and County Attorney), but the building is apparently too damaged to repair.
If one must choose between the lesser of ghetto choices, choose a location other than Emerald. A half-step above a homeless shelter for $400 a week. The $249 rate applies After 6 weeks. Drug addicts will feel right at home here.

Suprised the manger hasn't been fired yet, she really should.the place sucksbeen here for 4 years, pool has been shut down by health department twice, room air conditioning breaks constantly, have heard what seems like gun shots at night, very loud people outside and people screaming constantly, NO WI-FI dont excpet it no two rooms are the same, if you see some reviews are good its because they got a better room, the place uses fruniture that was left behind from previous residences its not a hotel, its a motel word of advice dont live in a place with "suites" in it

So far so good

Bit of a wierd vape type funk in the room when i checked in. Nothing fabreeze dident fix though.
Othen then that yeah im alive and well no drug dealers no rats or people that look like
O dog from dont be a menace who want to rape me
Staff is nice one black girl one white girl one mexican girl

Very bad management, they enter rooms with out warning, rumiged through my things looking for one of the many homeless people that they can't seem to control or clear out. They never found who they were looking for. The rooms are not taken care of my bathroom floor was falling through to the floor below, my air conditioner went out in June it was 117 that week they didn't fix it for 4 days and then I had to fight with the office. I am a 62 year old woman taking care of my grandkids 3, 4 and 15 years of age, it was horrible. The security guard invited my daughter into my room so he could spend 20 minutes with her, she said my moms in there, his reply was its OK I'll just kick her out. Oh if you plan on using the pool in summer forget it, it will be broken and unusable . I also found the office staff opening people's mail once. Be especially carefully of the manager named Jamie, she's the one that wears a flower in her hair and she is completely insane.If you are thinking about staying her, do yourself a favor and go up the strip about a mile to the Budget Suites so much better, best wishes to those that are stuck at the hell known as Emarald Suites and a word of warning if you start getting notices of no rerent or eviction, don't waste your time or money trying to work it out with them, they will take your money and have the constable remove you the next day.

Staying here now and they have no Internet they will just tell you it's something wrong with your modem but we literally had ours working at our house unplugged it brought it to the room and it immediately stopped working. The pool had a dead mouse floating in it . I really needed the Internet for job stuff and unemployment and now am here with no access to it. Also the vents smell bad when you run the ac.

I had to find a short-term living situation in a hurry. It needed to be relatively safe and not be covered with roaches. Being desperate doesn't mean it was my first choice, but I did research other "weekly hotels" before picking this one.
First, there is no Wi-Fi. Second, this place does not provides towels, bedding, dishes, pots or pans, and utensils. They don't even leave a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, though there is a plastic curtain for shower/bath. There is a plastic cover on the bed. Thirdly, the bed, if you have any type of low back problems the bed is like sleeping on a board with a quilt nailed to it, I've been switching between the bed and couch, neither are very comfortable. Next, there is an a/c unit is the main room and a fan mounted through the wall into the bedroom. I have no idea what the two bedrooms are like, but Las Vegas in August it's Hot! I happened to have a fan and placed it on a one of the chairs from the table and placed both in front of the fan. It helps but it won't help during the summer. Additionally, the lighting throughout is lit with 40 watt light, even in the bathroom. Furthermore, there are quite a few families living here, not saying this is a bad thing, but it isn't the lifestyle I'd want for my kids.response / report this review -

Conveniently located for public transportation. Fully furnished, TV w/ basic cable, utilities, landline w/ personal voicemail, and Ethernet capability included. Mail can be received.
My suite has an open view of the desert and the strip. Amenities including laundry facilities, fitness center and pool. Security on premises. Abundance of parking. Convience store, gas station, and Mexican restaurant situated in front of the establishment.
The majority of neighbors are friendly and stay to themselves.
4 stars for the quality of some rooms, and due the seedy people that pass by the outside of the premises. They normally don't bother any one. I suggest don't walk around the street surrounding the area after 10pm. Loitering after 10pm is prohibited on the premises after 10pm keeping the Emerald Suites a comfortable and safe place to stay.response / report this review -

Yeah.look elsewhere.people just hanging around cars in groups at night. People running around yelling at all hours. Not a good place to stay.

At the beginning of me & my girlfriend 8 month stay here, it was great. The living room, kitchen, bedroom, & bathroom were clean when we arrived. However, after a while we started to notice a lot of flaws.
1) Our refrigerator light would flicker on & off until it just stopped working.
2) There was this puddle on our kitchen floor that would randomly show up. Come to find out there was a hole in the faucet that would spray water on to the stove to were it would drip on the floor when we would turn it on.
3) The two lights in our kitchen would pop & cause sparks.
4) We had to reset the power grid 4-5 times because our power would go out.
5) Bug infestation (which i got bit by MULTIPLE times.)
6) Our spring board was broken & we asked the front office about it, & they said they would get back to us which they never did.
7) The rent is RIDICULOUSLY HIGH (By the way don't expect any kind of refund)
8) There is no internet unless your planing on bringing/buying your own router.
9) Our air conditioner NEVER worked, we had to call the front office 6 times in order for someone to finally come and fix it.
& finally my very last reason is the manager Jamie, she is a COMPLETELY Ignorant, Argent, Disrespectful, Psychotic, & Spiteful person. She is very hostile, close minded, & uncooperative. Long story short to why i say this about her, it is because when my girlfriend & i tried to go retrieve our last bit of property (Which one of the staff members tried to hand us) she threatened to call the police and have us arrested without any kind of explanation. But when we did try to get some sort of answers all we got were insults. So my advise to you if your planning to stay here is.just don't.response / report this review -

First room we got was filthy and they moved us. Pretty clean. Good place to stay for a while since they have a stove and oven and large fridge and freezer.

No Wifi. That's a lie. No Jacuzzi. That's a lie. It's broken. And been broken. Probably will stay broken This is not a hotel. They are studio apartment suites. If you are looking for anything like a hotel Do not come here.
