2 hour pontoon boat tour through the slough with a naturalist. Great tour for photographers. Naturalist and captain were very informative and kept the children on the boat engaged the entire trip. We viewed up close a raft of sea otters with some infant otters with their moms, seals, sea lions, shorebirds and birds of prey.

OUTSTANDING!!! Our group enjoyed the boat ride. Our knowledgeable guide, Austin, was great. Highly recommend it. Bring your camera and get ready to see an assortment of birds, otters, sea lions and seals up close.

If you love nature, this is a must. My wife and I took the April 5, 2016 tour. We saw hundreds of otters, seals, and birds. I can't even remember how many babies we saw. The cruise was very calming and professionally done. The pontoon boat is extremely smooth and the engine is very quite (I almost asked if it was electric).

Overall, the Elkhorn Slough Safari Nature Tour was well worth the money and the wife and I agreed it was the best part of our six day San Francisco and Monterey Bay trip.

I was hoping to see some otters. Wow! Saw lots of otters, harbor seals, and sea lions up close. And if you like bird watching, this will be heaven for you. We saw dozens of shore and aquatic birds. Knowledgeable guides, comfortable boat, well worth doing.
