i went today because i’ve gad severe stomach pain near my appendix for almost a month. i went in and they said that there was no blockage and i was fine. they gave me pain meds which relieved the pain but then i just got sent home i’m more pain.

This has to be the worst hospital I’ve ever been to, very incompetent. Just got back from a seminar that didn’t happen no one had any knowledge of it. No posting board no directions on how to get around. Terrible!! I have had the mispleasure of having to there a couple of times same bad results. Hope I never need to go there again.

Normally this hospital would get a high rating, normally the staff is wonderful to my family members, not so much tonight. You have one nurse that needs your attention.

My mom is in her 70's and has a number of serious health issues. We were taking her to a different hospital for care, and not getting good results. After she had a series of heart attack like episodes we took her to Elkhart General. Since then, she is getting real care, and her doctors don't sugar coat the matters. The work with her and us to ensure she gets the proper treatments, and she is happy with her doctors. We would not consider anywhere else for her care, even though we now live further away. Making the 40 min trip is worth keeping her in good health, and in the care of great doctors.

Goshen health will treat you better. The staff and doctors at this facility are cold, callous, and distant. There are much better options for healthcare in the region.

This hospital should be shut down completely. It's by far the worst hospital I've ever had to go to and deal with. The way they treat patients and how rude they are, makes me wonder how things would go if it was a hospital for animals. But my opinion you are better off going to Goshen Hospital then this non organized place, with rude hospital staff without second thoughts.

The nurses in Critical Care I spoke with during my sons heroin overdose stay were top notch. I live in Florida and they informed me and spoke kindly during every call. Thank you all for the care and comfort you provided my son and his family.

Didn't have to wait long to be seen and everyone was so nice and helpful. Wasn't stuck in there too long either. That was my first experience at this hospital and it went well :)

I went here with my brother to treat a puncture wound in his hand. A sharp clamp went through the top and a wrench got pushed up through the bottom. there was a partial wound all the way through. The doctor initially was very nice and seem respectful but after he left it got real bad. So after they had got done "treating" his wound all they did was put a band aid on the top and a band aid on the bottom. They told him that he could return to work the next day with a 25 lb lift limit. he couldn't even lift 2 lbs without breaking open his wound. They sent him home with no bandages and said he was fine. SO far it has taken him over a week to get to the point where he can lift over 20 lbs. They told him he was good to go and sent him on his way. He had just had a seizure and didn't know if he was driving home alone. They didn't care i suppose. he was in a lot of pain for a week in a half. Now he has o go to a specialist o see if he needs surgery. So glad they had MANNY the intern give him a band-aid and no other help. Maybe EGH should start giving a damn about people . Also the fact that the other nurses though 2 band aids would be appropriate for a puncture wound that was bleeding all the way through the band-aids is mind boggling. I really hope that ll the nurses are not trained so poorly like i said maybe they just don't give a damn about how others are affected since it isn't them.

My Mother had her hip replaced at Elkhart Hospital - Total Joint. The medical staff is top notch. The doctor who performed the procedure is by far the best at what he does in the Mid-West. Little side note of gratitude: I ended up getting to know some of the Parking Valet staff during my visits. I got to say they are some great personable guys!!

Radiology department was running like a Swiss watch! I've never been in and out of the hospital for x-ray, CT scans, or ultrasounds so quickly in my life. Check-in was quick and friendly, and staff was competent and precise. I went there expecting to be waiting and frustrated, but left amazed!
