Beautiful rooms and bathroom. My room had very good natural lighting and the shower was very nice with its multiple shower jets/heads.
Everything was mostly great but the windows are older and paper thin It's like they're open but they aren't. My room by a bust street was very noisy. But the location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, and the kitchen would have been great for a longer stay.
Although it's named "luxury suites" I wouldn't call it luxury. It might have been when the hotel was build but it is definitely time for a make over. The couch was worn out and had some holes in it. To bed was good, shower nice and warm and all was clean. The location next to the exhibition centre is perfect if you're attending a show. Rates are more then fair being in DC. As a European and used to a proper breakfast don't expect too much of the breakfast.
Went for 2018 Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic. Great Proximity to the Convention Center and China town. Suites were very nicely maintained. Wonderful staffespecially Eliza. Luckily construction was suspended during Presidents weekend. Slight issue with inconsistent heating.
It's a nice place to stay. This is my second time staying. However their kitchen supplies in the room are very limited if you're planning to cook or open a bottle of something. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a good breakfast option if you pay $6. It's worth paying it if you don't want to make your own.
We met a friend who is staying overnight here. It was a beautiful hotel, we would have loved to stay there. We left town that night and will definitely consider staying at this hotel next trip.
Stayed here at this location for a week. It is anything but luxury! The fold out sofa bed was no more than a six inch foam square covering a medal frame. The fabric covering the sofa was tattered & warn in various places. There was still a dirty kitchen sponge in the sink & a half used bottle of liquid detergent. The coffee maker was small but they only had full size paper filters so good luck with that. The parking is gated but open & we were not made aware until our arrival full construction on a site adjacent to the parking & rear of the building started promptly at 7am. We had to ask for clean towels daily. I would not recommend stating here. The only reason I am willing to give it 2 stars is 1 staff member at night was the only helpful & concerned person in the place. The rooms are spacious but my family & I will be booking else where on our next trip.
Clean and bright. Easy access from Convention center. I did not see the rooms as I was not staying as a guest but I was told be people I trust that it's a nice place to stay. Small bar area suitable for shirt meetings (my purpose for visiting).
Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful, large room with a full kitchen, not a small kitchenette, but a full kitchen. Separate bedroom, separated bath. Lots of closet space. Close to the Convention center. There only problem was the construction going on right now outside, but that wasn't bad. If definitely stay here again. If you come in after 10:00 pm, you have to be buzzed in. Breakfast is extra. But those things aren't a real problem, just less convenient.
Spacious suite with clean appliances in the kitchen. Great value for the location near the convention and Verizon centers. There's a Safeway not too far to get groceries to cook in the kitchen.
The staff was friendly and in July 2017 parking was $40/night not including DC's 18% parking tax. Parking is an open lot next door. If you want a more secure location, the Marriott across the street has valet garage for $47/night plus tax.
There's no construction over the weekend, but they really do start making a noise at 7am. Though, it's not always constant - one day there was a lot of noise, the next there was barely any (at least while we were in the room). Attached a pic of the construction sign citing the building not being completed until 2018. Also, sometimes the road is limited to one way due to construction vehicles going in/out.
TV has HBO so you're still able to catch Game of Thrones :)
Bathroom was a decent size and clean.
Would stay again when needing a room with a full kitchen.
Nice Hotel, located on L Street just outside the biz, metro stations nearby makes travel in the city easier. Apartment attractive and we'll equipped. The breakfast area is a tad basic, price reasonable. Parking quite expensive 40 dollars a night in an unsecure parking lot adjacent to the Hotel. Unfortunately there was major works taking place immediately adjacent to the Hotel very noisy 7am to 7pm. while we were there , however I would not rule out staying there again.
Great hotel for visiting the area to see all monuments, museums, etc. Would have thought the sheets and towels would be free of holes for a luxury hotel.
I had a reservation here specifically for the proximity to the convention center but when I arrived I was told that plumbing problems has made half of their rooms unavailable and instead they were relocating me to their sister hotel four blocks away. They did offer free parking and two rooms (there were three people in my party) at the other place for the same cost, because of the inconvenience. The handled the situation professionally, but the replacment hotel was not to the same standards I was expecting for the weekend and I had brought perishable food anticipating the fridge in the suite, that all went bad because the hotel they put us in didn't even have mini fridges and the ice machine ran out of ice. Disappointing but the staff was friendly, apologetic, and accommodating
Air conditioner did not work well at all and did not cool the room to the desired temperature. The beds were very comfortable
I loved being able to walk to the convention center and be on the show floor in no time! Wish the large glass doors to the balcony were open. Hoping that it is only temporary due to the construction on the adjoing building. Love the city :)
