Like an airport where you may have landed during the Solo Cross Country requirements of earning a pilot certificate, Effingham County has fuel and is a nice place for a stretch. The field also has some great instrument approaches for those IFR cross country flights or to stay current. Strikes me as one of the many underutilized facilities across the country.
