Went for a special event. Nice safe place for kids to trick or treat. Thought there would have been more activities for a paid event.
Beautiful scenery. Tranquility, peace and joy found in God's nature
Very beautiful estate off of the water. The staff here were all wonderful and knowledgeable and it was very interesting. If you are visiting michigan this should definitely be on your to do list!
This is an amazing throw back into history and some beautifully decorated rooms and finishes. The grounds are amazing with a beautiful view.
Fantastic even if you just walk the grounds. The tour is well worth it but even if you are short on time have a walk around the property. The key spots all have well educated guides nearby to answer questions too. You can get a yearly pass for a low price that is good at their lunch cafe.
Very cool home and we had a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Lovely grounds. Well worth the visit. Restaurant had good food, but service was poor.
This place was elegant. The docents were highly informative and congenial. Josephine's Playhouse was the best part of the visit- I would happily move there!
Gorgeous grounds..SereneWish we could ride bikes here
Beautiful at Christmas time with the home decorated. Very thorough and informative tour given by a docent. Looking forward to picnicking on the expansive grounds this Summer!
We went for the Winter Wonderland tour! An after hour, strolling the grounds and house freely. The grounds were lovely except for the bright LED light displays, it didn't flow with the other lights too well but still a magical setting. The house altho not an guided tour there was many tour guides in each room and throughout the home if you had question, it gave more of a homey atmosphere being able to stroll through each room at one's pleasure. All in all a true Gem of Detroit and a must during the Holidays.
Great place to go if you want to see how the rich lived before all you had to do to get rich was release a sex tape of you blowing some marginal "celebrity". Edsel Ford knew how to live. Not to mention the grounds are keep to exceptional standards. Not a well known spot, but I recommend it to anyone in the area, great way to spend a day.
