We love this adorable motel. It is perched on the shores of a gorgeous waterfront. It has a volleyball net, fire pit and even a small, sandy beach. The rooms are comfortable and homey, like you are staying at your grandma's house. Fritz, the innkeeper, is perhaps the nicest man you'll ever meet.

The Edgewater is a step back in time with it's architecture and furnishings and friendly innkeeper named Fritz.The rooms are clean and adequate and the view is great.

The perfect getaway. Management and staff were like no other "we are here to help you escape and relax" there cozy rooms and updated retro styled cabins are are a trip back to care free time. Without leaving all your modern conveniences behind.

Wonderfully comfortable. A trip back to a much simpler time with all of today's comfort's. The staff and management could write the book on customer service. The owner himself took us to the local farmers market. Every vender there knew him by name and good reputation.

Very clean rooms and cottages. Just the perfect amount of rustic charm combined with modern amenities. 418ft of personal river frontage including two docks and two fire pits. Free row boat usage and canoe rental. The grounds are kept immaculate and with many flower plantings. Two thumbs up!
