At first I wasn't too impressed with this shop as it was located where I cant see the water. remember that saying dont eat the fish if you cant see the ocean. Not in this case, this dive shop has the most down to earth divers that will absolutely cater to you even if you are the most flaky person in all of Southern California. I hope those year long passes are still available. Oh and if you try to stray away from the group from a dive they WILL be looking for you. Guys great job, I will be seeing you soon!

The people are really nice here and knowledgable. They can help you with dive trips or purchasing your own gear. Their rentals are okay but try not to rent your wetsuit here they are thrashed. But if you want to learn how to dive or further your education I would head over there as they have easy access to classes.

Stopped by Eco Dive again last week to pickup some extra gear for my annual Catalina trip. Great shopping experience as always! Ron was very knowledgeable and helpful. With his expert advice I got a mask, gloves, belt & weights, hoodie and a float line and was out of the store in about 30 minutes.
Definitely my go to Dive Store/Shop, Can't recommend it enough!

My husband and I had a terrific experience at Eco Dive. We took our gear in to get serviced. After the owner looked over our gear, he suggested that it was time for an update. Our equipment was serviceable but it wasn't worth the cost and this we knew because of the way the equipment performed in recent dives. He offered us a great deal for two regulators and console setups. He also fixed my husband's BCD that had a broken inflator at a very minimal. We left the store feeling very satisfied with purchase. This is definitely our new dive shop!

Excellent experience with this company. Bought a mask and snorkel online and they called me to indicate that a newer model mask was available. Great customer service and products! Highly recommend

Best dive shop in LA! The staff are all super friendly, with tons of gear to choose from (and they'll beat any price you can find online). I recently finished up a class with them and had a great time.

This is a review of their online business, Scuba Gear Express.

I found a great price on an item. At checkout, I also added a coupon code, which the online system accepted and applied to my total. The order was submitted, accepted and my credit card was promptly charged.

The next day, I received a message stating that the order was cancelled because I could not use the coupon with a sale item. Rather than simply removing the discount and processing the order, they told me to submit a new order. By that time, however, the price of the item had increased by almost 40%. When asked, they stated they would not honor the original price (without the coupon). Instead, they suggested I add the coupon code to the higher price (even though the item was still on sale) to – partially – make up for the price increase.

If they had simply admitted they had made a pricing mistake, I would have been fine with the cancelled order. By trying to pass it off as a problem with adding a coupon to the order, however, it stinks of bait-and-switch – luring a customer in with a low price that they never intended to honor.
