I've been going to Eastside Vet for 28 years. I've had good experience Dr. Cooper. Don't look for him for warm and cozy bedside manner (Dr. Pettitt was the best at that). I do like it that he doesn't over-prescribe, he just does what you ask him for.

I have had 2 dogs and have always liked how they have been treated at Eastside vets.. the staff has been courteous and friendly to me and my dogs. Prices are very reasonable compared to another vet I took one my dogs too.

I've had many experiences with good and bad veterinaries, and I've really hated my experience with East Side Vet. It's hard for me to understand how someone becomes a veterinary if the person shows no care nor affection towards my dog. My dog was really scared to be there, and he did not care at all to try to make her feel more comfortable, he ordered me to hold her and then he put on her vaccines. Then led us out of the room.

Except for a young man who seemed to be in practice to become a veterinary and who was very polite, every one else demonstrated terrible customer service. The doctor more than anyone was extremely rude, not being capable to even greet a customer.

Another very upsetting thing was that if you want to buy medicines online (which are usually cheaper), this guy won't approve the medicine if they sell the brand themselves there. So you have no choice but to buy more expensive medicines from them.

I am extremely upset with this place, and will continue to look for a better vet. More than anything, it upsets me that I had left my previous vet on my hometown, who treated my dog like his own daughter, unlike this guy.
