Stayed for a wedding was alright. they closed down after the wedding for remodeling

Stayed here in Feb/2012
The room spacious with a king size bed. There is also a pull out couch sleeper. So the room could have held a lot of people for a very reasonable price.Small Fridge,Coffee Maker, Microwave included. There were only two of us. The sink which is separate from the bathroom smelled funky. The towels were stained grey. Plenty of hot water. Had on the heat at night because it was chilly, worked great. The only problem I had with this place is that even though they say, camera surveillance system and you can see the camera's, I did not understand the seedy people hanging around or where they checked in at the hotel. I could not tell the difference. We were given a room with a view of a trailer park. I would suggest if staying here you do not get a room next to the park. Our neighbors on the left side were arguing on the telephone and we could here it then and when they argued with each other. I knew it was with the phone from the slamming of it on the receiver and the bell dinging. The first day there we went out and about to look for housing, For a possible transfer to the area for my husband's job. As soon as we walked out of our room the couple that were fighting came out and tried to bum money or cigarette's (we declined) and locked the doors to our car and left. The second night they were gone. Everything was quiet except the trailer park on a Sat night. My husband went out to the vending machine to get a beverage and saw some shady going's on. We left by Sunday. One day earlier than planned.response / report this review -

If I could rate this hotel in negative stars, I would. Our "non smoking" room smelled like smoke and had a cigarette burn on the sheet. There was a bug smashed in a corner, dirt/ash covering baseboards, and brown stained tub and shower curtain. We wanted a refund and were told that they "don't do that". Maybe that's because everyone asks for one! We immediately checked out because we didn't feel safe (warnings about not being liable in the event of theft and video cameras everywhere). We went to the best western around the corner. It was beautiful and felt like the Ritz compared with enterprise.

Although the place appeared relatively clean, the room's aroma was undoubtedly mold/mildew. The pictures on their website are a bit misleading and some of the stated amenities (conference facilities, business center, etc.) are overblown. As other users have mentioned, the place actually does have free wifi and is one of the cheapest hotels in Enterprise, but you get what you pay for. I ended up working through the night in a local restaurant to avoid the obligatory moldy hotel migraine.

My national guard unit had to stay at this hotel for a week and half with a training event at nearby Fort Rucker. The rooms are terrible. Most have an unusual smell due to water damage and dirty air conditioner filters. We also had a few soldiers bitten by bed bugs. Your breakfast choices are cereal and waffles and bananas.
The place has mattresses and old TVs all over the grounds, I am guessing due to the water damage.
I cannot believe our unit put us in this hotel. We are in the Army, we didn't have a choice. You do. Do not stay here! It is disgusting.response / report this review
