  This place picks and chooses who they will get in by insurance!. I called 4 weeks ago and they told me earliest they could get me in is Sept., you see I lost my husband 2 years ago and now have state insurance. Went to my Dr. yesterday and she got me right into another dermatologist last night. So I called today and told them I had BCBS like I did when my husband was alive. believe it or not, they have appointments in May. The receptionist back peddled and told me they don't go by insurance.so why wasn't I contacted when May appointments came available. Shifty and against all medical ethics!!!!

  I moved to the area and was referred to Dr Getz by a friend.
  I have nothing negative to say at all. I expected to be looked at and dismissed in five minutes, because typically, that’s how dermatology appointments are often handled.
  This was not the case here. I had a full body scan and was very happy with the amount of time Dr Getz took in explaining things to me. He did not rush me, and he was very thorough.
  His assistant was professional and friendly.
  I did not wait long, and thought everyone in the office was very professional.

  I highly recommend Dr. Getz and the entire staff at Dundee Dermatology! Dr, Getz has helped me immensely. He is very professional, yet I always feel that he listens to my feedback and treats me with compassion. Also, he is one of the tiny handful of research dermatologist in the entire Chicago area, and stays on top of all the most current research in the field. And I've always felt welcomed and respected by every staff member I've interacted with. Definitely 5 Stars!

  Dr. Getz is a nice enough doctor, but I cannot say the same for the practice as a whole. Expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour past your scheduled appointment, and don't even bother calling the billing department to pay your bill. They would much rather not pick up or call back and then happily send your bill to collections if you're not careful. I'm strongly considering switching to a different dermatologist, which is a shame because Dr. Getz is a solid doctor, but the practice he works for leaves much to be desired.

  My experience with regard to how I am treated at Dundee Dermatology is really positive. Dr. Getz always takes his time with me. His knowledge and social skills are excellent. His staff is very welcoming and efficient. I did have to wait longer than I expected but everyone apologized. My treatment has been very successful and that is most important. Marcia Myers
