Scheduled an appointment for the walk in clinic. I waited well over a half hour to be seen as people who came right in were taken before me. Not sure why they offer appointments when people who walkin are taken right away.
The service at Rolling Ridge DuPage Medical Group has gone down and down every year. My doctor is Dr. ---. I have lived here in Naperville for over 20 years and never have I had such poor medical service in my life. I have a PPO so my insurance is expensive.
Doctors on call do not call back at all. I call to make appointments in the morning and by the end of the day receive no call back, if I need refills I receive no call back and when I called to find out if there is a response I am told the office is closed or the doctor is not in or whatever excuse they have. Last week I called and they did not return a call and did not respond for days.
I will once again now have to go to the ER tonight just to get through the weekend because the doctors did not feel it was important enough to return my calls. Doctors are in the medical field so they should be available 24/7 or have someone covering that will actually return phone calls. If you do not want to be available when people have medical issues, then you should pick a different career that's 9 to 5. You are in the wrong business.
All this office has told me is how there are so many patients and not enough doctors and not enough staff to call them back. Well then, stop taking patients. If you cannot take care of your patients, you should not be a doctor.
I have wasted thousands and thousands of dollars going to the emergency room because the doctors at DuPage Medical Rolling Ridge do not bother to call back. It does not matter if it's a holiday, or weekend or whatever excuse they have, they do not call back regardless.
I do not blame the nurses. They take the notes, my calls are in the system, but the doctors that are "on call" or are in the office do not call back.
I would absolutely avoid Rolling Ridge unless you have the sniffles. No, I wouldn't even bother then. Go buy a box of Kleenex. You'll get better service from the Jewel cashier scanning your tissue box.
No complaints. Never had a long wait. Efficient and professional. Dr. Rusthoven is a great Doc.
PLEASE READ Before Scheduling Pain Injections
I've gotten 9 sets of injections in my life the last 3 being with DuPage Medical. While the facility was nice and Dr's were good I asked and had my insurance checked with them before scheduling my appointments. My first injection in 2016 I somehow only paid $100. OK. I was used to paying $225-267 after insurance elsewhere. The second time I was assured that it would be $200 range after insurance etc. That's what I was used to else where. Great! Scheduled one and then needed another 2 weeks later. 3 Months later I received bills for $1600+ for the last 2 rounds combined. The shots didn't even work (which is a know risk) I ended up needing surgery. They won't negotiate or discount if you pay in full. today i received a third bill for my first visit 13 months ago for another mysterious $755. They claimed it was in appeals from my insurance the entire time. They just continue to bill me for things that I am unaware of and as a "customer" I have no leg to fight back on. So IMMORAL borderline Criminal!! I highly suggest going elsewhere. I now use Edwards for everything, to each their own. Please be cautious though! My back surgery ended up being less than 3 rounds of shots with DPMG!!!
Think about that. Back Surgery, in the hospital for 3 days Cheaper Yes CHEAPER (and far more effective) than 3 rounds of cortisone shots with them! That does not even make sense!
Been using them for years.
Worst experience EVER. My first experience was bad because the Doctor prescribed an over-the-counter that never cured the problem. The second time, Erin discriminated us by denying the service to my little kids and calling the police. The Doctors are really fake and they do not treat you as a human being since they just want your money. Do not go to waste your time and money here!!!!
Good
This place is disorganized and sucks!
Fast, efficient. Had to get some shot for an overseas trip. Got me in and out. Doctor and nurse answered all my questions. Overall great experience.
I took my son here because it was the weekend and they were open. Diagnosed with the flu. Prescribed Tamiflu. Asked the question "anything to worry about with this medication? Is it safe?" Doctor replied it's fine and safe, nothing I should worry about. Then, I asked if anything I should be concerned with or watching closely over the next few days in regards to typical flu symptoms? Response was "well, you know some kids do die of the flu" then went on to share more, but once I heard that I didn't hear anything else. So - I got the prescription filled, $130. Gave my 4 year old 2 doses and stopped. He turned into a different human being. I always do my research, I have NO idea why I didn't this time. For once, I trusted the doctor. Then, I read up on it. If you read information on this drug, or have taken it, then most likely you know why I am writing this. So - $130 later, I am extremely bothered that this doctor told me there is nothing to worry about with this drug. I went and got a 2nd opinion today, and my primary doctor told me to stop giving the medicine to my typically very healthy 4 year old. Said they would never give it to their kids unless they had other health concerns and it was too risky not to give it. I wish I would have received better 'service' from Dupage Medical Group. A caution about the medicine when I asked, something other than a shrug of the shoulders and "no its fine" type reaction. I also wish this doctor had better bed-side manner. Telling of mom of little kids that "you know, kids do die from the flu" before sharing anything else I should be watching for? I will NEVER go back to this after hours location. Walgreens Urgent Care will do just fine on the weekends.
Great staff! Very friendly. Doctors take there time and answer all questions.
