I have lived in this community since April of 2020. I have found it to be quiet, welcoming, and I know if I needed help that a neighbor would be available. During the winter snow storm, several of us helped each other out and it was exactly what I was looking for in a community. Home itself is still settling in and if there have been issues the warranty company has been quick to respond though I have only had one issue with an appliance. You do hear a bit of air and highway traffic, but I knew that going in and it doesn't disturb me, my guests, or pets. I enjoy it hear and am looking forward to the community center being built!

I would agree that some of the worksmanship with the baseboards and painting look a bit rushed. I plan to update my review after the one year touch up, but I know that some cracks and what not come with settling of the house.

Very poor workmanship. The quality of the house does not equate to the amount paid. After 1 month of going to closing, the crown molding was cracking in my living area, cabinets didn't close all the way, cracking in my walk in shower, and horrible settling along the stairs starting from the bottom level to the top level. When speaking with the warranty company they came out and looked at the issues and informed me that the unsightly cracked crown molding, which is near my ceiling, can't be repaired and one cabinet will be replaced. The nail pops, settling around the stairs, and other poor areas of drywall work can be fixed during my one year touch up. The concern is that the house was falling apart within 1 month and I have to wait a year to have the issues rectifiedthat's ridiculous.

I do not recommend purchasing from Dan Ryan Builder's and if I could do it again, I would take heed to the all reviews about the builder, especially the reviews on ConsumerAffairs. Never again with this builder.

Update: I forgot to mention the walls are very thin. You can hear people playing music, walking up the stairs, and even closing cabinets.

Very impressed with sales staff and project management staff. Both are always available and quick to respond to questions and concerns. A good team that I am very grateful to have building my new home!

Let’s just say I will NEVER build with Dan Ryan again. Horrible craftsmanship’s! There are areas of my house you can tell were super rushed with painting, definitely doesn’t look like it was done by professionals. Like another reviewer stated, my house looks unsightly with all the cracks and nails coming through the wall. The caulking has cracked in pretty much every area of my house. The vanity in one of the bathrooms completely separated from the wall after a month of living here. The bannister in the living room is cracking shall I go on?? And when you call the warranty people they treat you like you want something for free. I’ve lived in my house for 3 months and have called the heating and AC company to come out more times than I can count. Also if you decide to go with Dan Ryan, MAKE SURE you ask about all the options available for your new build because chances are they won’t tell you. I found out after I closed that there were several options available to me and I was never informed, very disappointing! Bottom line, my experience hasn’t been positive and I wouldn’t recommend this builder.
