I had a heart attack on Friday about 2:00pm. I went into American Fork ER. and was diagnoised. They called an ambulance and I inturn was transported to Utah Valley in Provo. This is where I met Doctor Cragun. Although it wouldn't be until the next day when he did his rounds. (on a Saturday) He met with me and told me I had two arteries that were 100% restricted. He inserted two stents. While he inserted those two stents he noticed need for 3 to 5 additional arteries that were plugged! Long story short, I got two stents on Friday and three more on Monday. My care and the concern shown by Doctor Cragun and his assistant are second to none. I am so glad they sent me to Provo.

Dr. Cragun is one of those doctors that truly listen to your concerns; teaches & explains what is going on in layman terms so we can understand what he knows we need to understand to improve our health. He's explained what my medications will do to help me and is able to quote medical studies that prove why one Med is better than another in treating my heart condition. He is a brilliant Doctor. He remembered from the time of a surgery he performed until 2 weeks later when he saw me for a follow up and could remember how many clogged arteries I had and what percentages they were closed off with all the othe patients he sees in a week. I so appreciate his true caring about me personally when I'm so anxious about my health. And how he takes time to explain during my arteriogram to explain what I was seeing and also bringing my husband in after the procedure to explain what he found inside my heart. Genetics stinks but Dr Cragun makes me feel I'm trying my best!

Love Dr. Cragun. He is one of the very few Doctors that legitimately cares about his patients, and their care.
