Autumn T is best. One of the very few people I've trusted 100% with cutting my hair. Over the past couple years she's maintained my long hair and seamlessly transitioned me to shorter hair. She can do it all.

Autumn T. does my keratin treatments and cuts my hair. Love! Highly recommend the keratin treatment no more worries about humidity and how it affects my hair for this woman. And I wouldn't trust anyone else to cut my hairAutumn knows my hair texture and what works for it. Beth colors my hair, and she has skillfully pointed me in a much more flattering direction. Highly recommend both of these talented people

I have been going to Douglas J in Okemos for a couple of years now and what keeps me coming back is SERENE, an amazing hairstylist! She is a genuine person with lots of patience, really listens to what you want, and works with you to achieve the seemingly impossible. Her massages when she washes your hair are very relaxing! I had a bad coloring experience at another salon and Serene introduced me to Maisie, who took the time to give me alternatives to remedy my dilemma. My color came out perfect. I would highly recommend both Serene and Maisie!

I visited Douglas J Salon on November 29th and had a wonderful, relaxing time getting my hair colored with Maisie. She took the time to hear about the look I wanted to create, asked me about my hair (it was previously colored at a different salon), and gave me the run down of what she was going to do and how we were going to achieve it. Maisie and I had great conversations throughout my appointment and gave me the time to relax + unwind--who doesn't love getting their hair shampooed! She gave me a beautiful balayage with full dimension. I am extremely happy with my time spent and everyone at the salon and look forward to seeing Maisie in a few months. Thank you!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Tim is an amazing hairstylist and person. He blows me away with every service I’ve got from him. I️ drive an hour for him to cut my hair and every penny is worth it! He’s down to earth and knows all the latest trends and what looks good and what doesn’t. Truly a talented and down to earth human being. Definitely check him out you won’t be disappointed. As far as the other staff at this location goes, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I’d rate 10 stars if I️ could ❤️❤️

I had a wonderful experience with a nail tech there - her name was Nichole! She took the time to help me relax, she listened to all of my problems, and she even suggested somethings I was in need of! I will use her again and I would recommend her to everyone I know! Thank you for employing wonderful people like her! She made my experience worth every dollar I spent!

I was so thrilled to go in and get my nails done for the first time here! Nichole did an amazing job, and was so sweet and friendly!! She made me feel welcomed and special! I 100% recommend her for your nail needs!

I have been to the salon several times and have Halley Briggs do my hair every time that I go. She is the sweetest girl and really cares about what I want done to my hair. She has recommended product to me that works great for my hair and skin. She seems very knowledgeable in her work. I highly recommend Halley. So great!!!

Charley is absolutely wonderful! She was a joy to go see, happy, personable and an excellent stylist! My hair for my wedding was exactly what I wanted and Charley made it perfect. I am very particular and nothing was ever a problem. Charley was a real pro! She was a dream to work with! I got so many compliments on my hair~ hope I will have the chance to wear it like that again! Thank you, Charley! I cannot give a high enough recommendation of you, your service and your styling skills!

I love the service I receive at Douglas J. Stacy does my color and she is always professional, does a beautiful job with my hair color, continues to advance in her career, and has become a friend over the years. I wouldn't go to anyone else. Serene cuts my hair and I'm always more than pleased with the results. She listens to what I want and also makes good suggestions. I look forward to my appointments because of the great people who work there. I just love both Stacy and Serene and would highly recommend both of them.

Timothy gave me a haircut last Wednesday. It was my first time to have him cut my hair, so I did not know what to expect although I heard that he's got a good reputation. He did a fantastic job! I am very happy with my new hair style. I would definitely go back to Timothy again. Highly recommended him!!!

Never a bad haircut with Jason Nash! Whether I want something different or just a trim, I'm never disappointed. His knowledge and experience allow him to perfect my cut and style every time. It's so nice to completely trust that your hair stylist will leaving you feeling beautiful, confident and polished every instance you walk out of the salon doors! Thank you Jason! You can't miss with color by Heather! She listens to exactly what you want and makes suggestions based her amazing expertise. This dynamic duo are a win every time!

Autumn T. (cut) and Beth (color) have been styling my hair for years. They are phenomenal. Both are professional and knowledgeable. I love my hair and couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them. Book your appointment - you wont be disappointed. Douglas J is a top notch salon.

Maisie does a fabulous job on my hair every time. When I get color done by her she always makes sure I leave my chair with good knowledge on caring for/styling my hair. She gives me good recommendations on products and is very honest when I ask her what looks best! I recommend her to everyone. Love her work.

For over 6 years I have been getting my hair cut by Autumn Tomlinson. She's the only one I trust to give me the length and cut I ask for. I always feel comfortable with her, knowing that she genuinely loves what she does and her only care is how good I look at the end. She is also extremely professional, offering her opinion when asked, but also considerate in understanding clients' comfort zones. Autumn is welcoming, warm, and always ready to make conversation. She's an amazing hair stylist!
