Beautiful place. The Christmas routine is nice. The scavenger hunt is a little hokie, but the kids love it. We have a lock on the Love Gate, so we enjoy the visit.

NOVEMBER 2017 - DOTHAN AREA BOTANICAL GARDENS
A multi-use facility featuring walking trails, garden benches and pergolas, swings and gazebos. There is something here for all ages from small children to seniors including fun areas with a ‘CHILDREN’S JUNGLE GARDEN’ with play houses and a slide. Other outdoor features include a KOI POND with a bridge and waterfalls, a pond with a fountain and various feature gardens with everything from cactus and desert plants to vegetable plots.
Seasonal displays throughout the gardens add interest and variety to keep community interest piqued and ensure new scenery, featuring displays by local talent, throughout the year.
This is a popular venue for outdoor weddings and they also have first class indoor facilities, to seat up to two-hundred, in case of inclement weather or for other special occasions.

Beautiful, peaceful area that is inside Dothan that allows you to enjoy the outdoors. Have great photo opportunities for families look for places to get outdoor spots. Features Scarecrows in the Gardens in the fall, and a great Holiday light display.

The grounds are beautiful. Many plants are not labeled, which was disappointing since we really wanted to know what they were to purchase some of them for our yard.

It's a beautiful place, and it's a perfect spot for the kiddos. There is a new playground and fish ponds. The best part, perhaps, is the rose garden. It's well kept and there is even a place to rent for weddings. Check it out!

Beautiful place. You can walk around at your own pace here. And just relax. We even meet a sweet dog at the entrance..we thought he might try to leave with us.

Although the Gardens could use a little upgrade, it's a unique place to visit. Bring your bug spray though.

This is a beautiful well organized garden. Lots to see with many labels to know what your seeing. Great photo spots! The red bridge in the Asian area is the most photographed I believe. Good shade in most areas. Enjoy!

Great variety of plants, trees, bushes & flowers. Leashed dogs are permitted. This is a great place to learn about which flora grow well in the Dothan area.

Wonderful scenery and a beautiful walking/jogging trail. There is a pond, so be cautious with your kids. The pond has koi fish and turtles living in it and are super cool to see. A pretty flower donation section is in the center of the gardens, and a nice area to take photos is near this area. There is a fence near the gazebo where couples can go "lock their love" with any lock. This is a very fun and relaxing place to go on any day. Highly recommended
