Beautiful ski lodge just wish it was opened back up for business. Hopefully the state will get off its duff and figure out what they are going to do with the property!

Ski Denton has the potential to offer the best skiing in Pennsylvania. It looks small but the terrain varies greatly, challenging even the best skiers and snowboarders to track up the countless ski-able areas of the hill after a snow storm. Denton has enough slopes to accommodate beginner and intermediate skiers, but is known for its steep slopes like The Chute and Avalanche. On top of this, some great turns can be made in the wooded areas between slopes and in the "back country", especially during their annual Telefest. The location is rural with little cell phone service; however, this is can be desirous for some people. Overall, it's a small ski hill but is more than enough when the conditioners are right.
