Nice park. Beach kind of pebbly and weedy, with a slant, but clean. Lots of benches and picnic tables. A few stationary grills. Some secluded picnic areas on the opposite side of the road. Water clean, buoy marked area. Some directional issues depending on which version of mapquest, maps, or gps used to get there. An outdated version of maps took my son down a dirt access road at the back of the park, that didn't go to the public areas.. 3 miles later, he had turned around Low entry fees, plenty of parking.

This is our new favorite place. Even when it's busy it's not super crowded.

This place it's a small Oasis not to far from Manchester or Concord. It is specially nice when you go on non holiday days. You can expect bigger rowdier crowds on holidays or weekends. You can rent kayaks or canoes, you can fish, you can swim and hike and you can relax.

Relatively clean lake to swim in during Summer months. A bit rocky so swim shoes are good. Quite a few people come in big groups to take advantage of tables that have grills at them. Canoe and kayak rentals are nice must have cash and can only use for an hour. Wish it was longer. There is a nice secluded area to explore but noticed little pieces of glass everywhere 😕 use life jacket if going out above head, 2 people drowned recently 😕

It's a nice lake for us to go to because it's close to our house. The lake is clean. It can get a little loud and crowded sometimes but not crazy. Try and get there early to get a spot. Staff at the park is very nice.

Absolutely beautiful lake and a great place to take pictures. Nice picnic area and decent beach. The water isn't very clear. The bathrooms are currently out of service and they have Port-a-potties out instead. They don't allow dogs in the main park area, which is a bummer. If you want to bring your dog you'll have to go walk up by the dam where you can walk across the bridge and down a nice trail. Watch for porcupines!
