So first off let me talk a out two negatives that I often hear about this place 1 it's expensive. 2 it's away from all the other places. So regarding price.yeah it's a bit expensive but this place is year round and they have to survive somehow, and let's be honest here folks if you are visiting Door County and expecting cheap finds you'd probably better stay home and order a pizza or don't go to door county. Now location, I never found it far away .going from north to south door county means some driving but it's such nice scenery I've never minded. Darn near everything is good here so make sure to put this one on your GPS when visiting Door County!

Whenever we go to Door County we always make a point of stopping at Door County bakery. They not only have phenomenal bakery products that are made there, but they also have a beautiful dining room with wonderful food. You can get breakfast or lunch there. Also a nice selection of coffees. They have a huge stock of foreign and domestic wines. They also have a nice selection of scotch and cognac and other alcoholic choices. They have a small cheese case with cheese and meats. They also have a small gift selection. When you go to Door County make sure you make a point of stopping in @ Door County Bakery.

Everything is extremely overpriced!! I would not recommend coming here at all. Food is good, portions are small, prices are high. $15 for 3 small pancakes.without sides! Are you kidding me! Get real.

The Door County Bakery is an excellent bakery, restaurant, and a gem of Door County. The Italian Beef is not to be believed, and it's served on Corsica bread. The Corsica bread is shipped all over the world. The service is leisurely and friendly. They also sell their Corsica bread "gold", which is tiny crumbs of Corsica bread - great for stuffing and meat loaf! They sell Corsica bread croutons and French bread crumbs as well, not to mention the many other delicious gourmet food items. Prices are reasonable, and the food is amazing - can't get this anywhere else! Their pies are gorgeous and their maple glazed French crullers are delicious! The Door County Bakery is always on the top of our must go to places.

Been there for both pastries and breakfast. Bakery is very good but definitely overpriced. Breakfast was good but expensive. Service was slow but they apologized and offered free dessert.

This place is outrageously expensive. I couldn't bring myself to pay almost $ $5 for one bear claw. So I had two of the 99-Cent Maple coated Donuts. The donuts were definitely good.

After reading the reviews I wanted to try the Corsica loaf. Staff not friendly. I had him cut under one quarter of the loaf and it was almost &18.00. That being said it was delicious.

Do not waste your time or money here. Food was nothing special and super overpriced. It cost over $50 with tip for the 2 of us for breakfast! Don't bother ordering the Greek yogurt thing either. They give you about an ounce of it in a tiny dipping sauce bowl. The waitresses aren't very nice either. They're very cold and awkward. We were going to buy some items from the bakery after breakfast, but after seeing the bill we passed. There are tons of other better and cheaper options.

The cinnamon french toast with DC cherries on top was not only wonderful tasteing but made something special out of french toast. Buckwheat pancakes? Excellent! Americano coffee, love it. If you can't stay for breakfast get some of their bakery. Try their Corsica bread. Nothing like it anywhere. Service was friendly and helpful. This is a must go there place!!

Come for the Cherry pie, It's delicious, just the right amount of almond extract and thickened with tapioca, not corn starch.

Leave when you see the prices for everything else. ($2.75 for a single 3" diameter cookie? NOPE)

Great space and nice bakery offerings but prices are unusually high. $6 for a latte? $4.50 for a single cookie? Cafe Au Lait for $8? I expect to get gouged in Disney world or a stadium but not a roadside bakery in rural Wisconsin. Staff seemed to be off, too. Unfriendly, cold service. Too many other options in door county to return here.

Dynamic place! Not only is this a charming, spotless eatery, it also boasts wonderful bakery and great gifts. The help is super,--friendly, warm, and efficient. They worked around my dairy allergy and my husband's fussy palate with grace and ease. Everything that we have eaten there is tasty and the coffee is wonderful! We cannot wait to host a dinner party in the restaurant some time soon. This is Door County at it's small town finest.
