The staff at Don Wood Ford in Athens was very helpful and worked very hard to get me in my new Ford Escape. The service was great and I would like to personally thank Randy for all of the time he spent on us. We love our new car and will return in the future. Don Wood Ford was the only dealer in the area of Parkersburg/Marietta area that took the time to work with us and get the deal done. We went to Astorg Auto , Wharton and Superior in Parkersburg and were told there was nothing they could do for us. If anyone is looking to buy a new car or truck, I would recommend Don Wood in Athens. THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE

I bought a used f150 limited from Jay Blake. Upon receipt of vehicle the damage to wheels and dents in doors were terrible. The sleezy used car salesman Blake sent me a picture of two small scratches and assured me that was all that was there. Once I called him back and sent photos he told me he was through with it and I could talk to management. Speaking to Mr. Nelson, supposedly the manager was no good either. He constantly stumbled over his lies and made zero sense. I can't speak for the others that work there, but I'd strongly suggest not dealing with either of these two incompetent individuals. Dishonest car dealers at its best. Guess it's no coincidence that their names aren't mentioned in any of the 5* reviews.

I had the unfortunate experience of hitting a deer in my 6 month old Ford Escape :( The left front side of my poor car was damaged . Chris and his crew at Don Wood took great care of Zelda ( my Escape, she is the prettiest blue and sparkly) and made sure that she looked just as great as she did before the Great Deer Encounter. The customer service was excellent and I am very VERY happy with the team at Don Wood!
