The name has been changed to Peacock Ford. However, the location is still open. Just give them a call. 4/17/2017
Recently purchased a truck from here! Was a little put off at first because they were extremely short handed when I first got there on a Sunday Morning. I will say that these guys were very apologetic and made up for it and have been great with every aspect since! Got a really good deal on a unique version of the truck that is not very common, and I couldn't find anywhere else. Would definitely buy another vehicle here! Our sales guy was Terrance and we highly recommend him!
Your parts driver is a tool bag. Decided to tail gate me doing 50 in a 40. Than wanted to yell at me out the window but wouldn't look at me at the light. He's a carrot top, probably has feminism tendencies. I mean, your not even a tech dude?? You drive parts and suck at that. I wouldn't want that guy anywhere near my car. I can see why your guys ratings suck.
Don Reid Ford: Seriously good people!
I consider myself fortunate to have done business with the team at this dealership.
I found a sweet used Jeep, which was a trade-in by another customer at this Ford dealership.
The attention to the details; including the car's inspection, service records by the dealership, as well as courtesy and respect shown to me were exceptional, I felt like I was dealing with a business from thirty years ago.
Chuck Watson, my salesman, helped me with everything I needed, and I knew I was being treated with honesty and respect by him. The sales manager, Jason, was a man of quality and respect, also.
Little, but important, to note: while looking for the used car's lot, I happened upon their repair facility of this rather large Ford dealership. Even though it was the start of the lunch hour for the office of the repair facility (as I observed piping hot BBQ had just been unwrapped by these clearly hungry ladies) they still managed to leave this behind, just to walk with me out of their building and to point me in the right direction to the lot I needed to find.
Next, I ended up at the NEW car lot through no fault of their directions! While I walked into this attractive, old-florida era, building, a salesman opened the door for me and we chatted about the era of the building and appreciation for keeping the style of this cherished method of architecture. Although I would have loved to buy a new Ford, I had to move on to the used Jeep I had traveled to see, which I'd found from my online research. So the lovely man practically walks with me across the street to the used cars.
I'm directed into the used car offices, only to find that, of course I'd come at the customary lunchtime. But many came rushing out to lead me to my dream Jeep anyway, which I was happy to buy, as it was advertised accurately for what I wanted.
So, I did manage to get to my destination, regardless of my "lack of direction" personality, while gaining an impression that every team in this dealership might possibly be top notch. At this point, I started to question my decision to buy another Jeep, as the Jeep facilities have consistently fallen short of quality service many times. Maybe I should be looking for a Ford next time?
Came to test drive a car I was looking to purchase. Was told by the salesperson to adjust my mirrors and wait until he scanned my license and got a plate. Terrance Lee comes back and says that "their insurance would not allow me to drive it." First time I'd heard of such bullshit. No doubt it was my age, my record is spotless.
I rode in the passenger seat for about 10 minutes with Terrance. I decided I liked the car and wanted the numbers. I have a grandfather who's worked at the Ford factory in Ohio for 30+ years, so I was qualified for A Plan (Employee pricing). Terrance tried to tell me that A Plan had no impact on the price whatsoever and would not proceed with processing a price for the vehicle without my A Plan code. It was a very negative experience and I would not go back.
I met a gentleman at Autonation Ford in Sanford named Mark who was extremely easy to work with. They were much more professional and we're able to do a dealer transfer so that I could purchase the car I wanted with the pricing I was rightly qualified for. The entire process was extremely efficient and they even got my interest rate down 2%.
Avoid this dealership.
Had to buy a new (used) car for the first time in 9 years on Sunday. Jack S. was helpful and understanding with the process. He was not a "pressure" sale type of guy and only after we were sure on the car did he suggest we go in and talk about financing. The process was smooth and quick! Thanks again Jack
