Great handmade corn tortillas. Had a pastor and carnitas. Meat was a little dry and could've used a good salsa, but other than that they were great.
It was clean but that was about it. The pico de gallo in the salsa bar was turning a funny color and the food lacked flavor.
Having lived in Mew Mexico, I miss down home Mexican cooking, but this place has it. It's unpretentious food like grandma would make.
I'm from Mexico and this place is not an authentic mexican food, the flavor and presentation is a disgrace, I ordered fajitas , and chicken in adobo, both dishes were flavorless and pricey, and I notice the register machine was full of grease and dust I even told the cashier and she said "yes, it's grease" and she was also the cooker and handles the money wearing the same gloves she use for cooking, when I saw that, I was disgusted, It's not worth it still searching for a good, clean AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant.
Initially I was taken back by the fact that this is an old Wawa.
The presentation is a little ghetto but the food is amazing and priced to please.
If you want to try some of the best Mexican food ever I recommend trying this place. Everything they have is made on the spot. The people that work there are kind a appreciative, it is no 5 star dining but you will eat there again!
