Great Pizza!!! Garlicky garlic knots and they will even go out of their way to make your pizza just the way you like it. Great Family owned business.
I have ordered from Mama Venezia quite a few times. I have always liked their food. However the last time I ordered I was seriously disappointed. I ordered a meatball parmigiana dish and could not believe my eyes when I opened the container. There was a smidgen of cheese and the sauce was pure water. I called, spoke with the manager/owner??. He told me to text a picture. I did, no answer, I text him again..no answer. Finally I called him and no response. I will never order from this place again. I'm so disappointed. Now ordering from 2 brothers and Monacos who are excellent!!
Unfortunately, I needed to update my review. Had to change it to 1 star because this local business refuses to honor its menu prices. The girl on the phone actually says to me, "Your menu must be a few years old." I explained we've only been customers for a few months. She replies, "Do you want the order or not?" Then says, "You're good" when I tell her to cancel my order. This generation is going to be the end of customer service. Let's be clear: Your neighborhood can't support your small business if you're going to treat people that way.
The food is good. The people are nice. I enjoy MV's pizzas and pastas (particularly the melanzane pasta). My go-to pizzeria/pasta quick joint when I'm in LI.
Raw doh center, improperly heated oven, cheap ingredients. I am from Brooklyn/Queens area and I am a pizzeria conneseur. I ordered one of everything to try the place out: the centers of all the rolled doe style servings like pepperoni rolls and chicken rolls were all raw in the center. Pizza lacked seasoning and it was very dry because they cooked the moisture of the sauce out. They are running the oven too hot where the outside Is cooking before the doe inside. In no circumstances should there be well done, toasted crust and the middles are barely warm. Literally slime to where you pull it apart and thought it was cheese. The pepperoni was not flavorful and they use very poor quality chicken. I also had a side of sauce to try what they are using in their pizza and it barely contained the 5 primary ingredients in what makes a pizza sauce. I'm not sure if people in Long island know what good pizza is. Shame on this place.
Excellent place and pies
Great food! Great prices!
The pizza is my favorite I've eaten, there's a reason we've been eating there for so many years
Been eating here since I was in elementary school. This was the place me and my friends would ride our bikes too. Good prices good pizza. Best deep dish specialty slices in the area.
I love their seafood pasta. My family usually order the half tray and share. The portion is good for 4 to 6 people. Price is good for the quality of foods, and delivery is very quick.
This is my favorite local Italian restaurant!
Venezia provides a delicious lunch value priced. A no frills restaurant for a quick bite. Try the marshals and chicken parm. Pleasant, clean service.
Run of the mill pizzeria. Tried two specialty slices; white and "chicken ranch" (turned out to just be chicken). I'm one of those people that actually enjoy eating the crust, i was a bit turned off when i got to the crust and it was dry. The interior was also pretty dirty, it didn't look like the tables were being wiped down at all. Staff was very friendly, it's only saving grace. Unfortunately, i do not go to pizzerias for social graces, so this will be my first and last visit here.
Absolutely horrible! Bland food with no spices evident in anything
These guys r great, food is always fresh along w quick delivery. Excellent all around, been ordering here since I moved into the area, not one complaint. Great job guys!
