Had an business event at the restaurant. They sat us in the dining room located in the back of restaurant. The back dining room is an outdoor space converted into a room with plastic awnings. It was extremely hot because not all of the AC in room worked. This made the meal extremely uncomfortable.
The food quality was good and the service was appropriate, but it felt rushed.
I would not recommend to make events at this restaurant.
If you have never been before they have a very nice set up and a beautiful restaurant. Their menu gives you options to choose from from the appetizer, main course, and sometimes dessert. This place was so good when I first went there but they really haven't changed their menu over the years. With a menu refresh I would be willing to give them 4 stars.
One of the most beautiful restaurants I've been to with a romantic ambiance. Try to get seating on the top floor balcony if the resutrant is not too busy, it's a great view. The food was the best part though! The octopus was cooked to perfection and came along with a complimentary appetizer. You can't beat the price and location!
This was my first time visit to this restaurant and I was shocked that I hadn't been here yet before.
We attended a plantnite here in the back dinning area and had drinks and brunch. This was part of a birthday weekend celebration for my girlfriend and she enjoyed this restaurant and experience very much.
For what I heard this location use to be an old firehouse and from the architecture you can still see the subtle firehouse elements.
The brunch and drinks were delicious, I got the eggs Benedict and she got the Brie cheese and fruit tray covered in honey drizzle. We ordered a pitcher of brunch special mimosas.
All and all with the event, great food and drinks all decently priced, we had a blast and will definitely going back for a dinner date!
The ambiance at this restaurant is romantic. The service we received from Nathan (our waiter) was top-notch. He was courteous and professional when we had to return something we ordered because it wasn’t properly salted. Instead of being rude, his manager got involved and not only did he make up for it but went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable. The Miso Salmon is fantastic and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The flan 🍮 dessert was amazing as well. Very nice place for a special date or anniversary.
I can't speak for the food, but the drinks are on point! One of my favorites is the Lychee Martini. Carlos, the owner, is also such a pleasant gentleman and clearly loves his job. 10/10 would recommend for a place to get great drinks with friends! I will have to come back and try the food sometime soon! :)
My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here! Originally from Tampa, we went to Miami over the weekend, and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant for brunch. Our waitress, Revan, went absolutely above and beyond for us, even writing out a list of places for us to visit in the area before we left. She was extremely professional, but personable as well. We will recommend this restaurant to any and everyone, and we will certainly be back!
Best brunch I could have asked for honestly. The hostess got us a fan because the heat was horrible, which was really kind of her. Our server Michael was always checking on my friends and I to see if the food and drinks were to our liking. The server assistant Nathan was really funny and genuine. From beginning to end our experience was great.
Nice restaurant to visit at least once. Kind of expensive but its more for the experience I believe. Had to wait quite a while but didn't make any reservations. Food is good but it's more like a one time thing to me.
Great food. Great environment. Great service. Fair price. Highly recommended.
Beautiful atmosphere. Delicious food. Love everything about it. I've been numerous times and love it. Recently I had my son's graduation lunch here. I called about a month prior and set up the arrangements. The event coordinator made it a very simple process. All done by email and zero problems. When I arrived the day of the event, everything was set up and waiting. We had a large space all to ourselves even though it was a Saturday afternoon! It was beautiful and elegant. The staff was totally dedicated to us and so professional. I realized I had forgotten to preorder a special dessert for my son but the waiter told me not to worry. Soon after, he presented a beautiful chocolate dessert with candles! Thank you so much for making our event so special!
I must also mention that the cost of our event was super reasonable especially for receiving such delicious food in a modern and elegant atmosphere.
I was very hyped in going here for my friend birthday.
Didn't know it used to be a fire station.
The ambiance is nice. The bar area that turns into a mini club is nice. The drinks at the bar could be better. BUT, I guess paying $6 for top shelf liquor isn't bad. (Hennessy).
Now let's talk about the food.
We had a party of 12. Waited for a while to be seated.
We requested upstairs when the reservation was made. When we were finally seated they placed us downstairs in those wooden uncomfortable chairs.
There's no bread. Surprisingly because this is a Spanish place.
You have to order corn bread $2.99 . Doesn't taste good.
My lobster bisque was Luke warm and couldn't taste the lobster.
The main course. Churrasco steak. Luke warn and TOUGH!! Although I ordered it med well. Carlos our waiter was very cold and seldom checked back on our table.
Finally, when I got him to exchange my meal. I ordered the Salmon bow tie pasta.
I guess they figured I wasn't hungry and send out a child's portion of the pasta.
I'm not sure why this place has good reviews. Because it's certainly not for the food.
Or was it just because we were a table of 12 African Americans that the service was HORRIBLE..
CAUTION: Go for the drinks not the food.
The ambiance and decor of this lounge/ restaurant was gorgeous. It was very spacious.
The service was very attentive but relaxed at the same time which made it a comfortable place to be. They were very knowledgeable about the menu items. The waiter played a dice game with us to offer free dessert if we won.
The food was amazing and soo flavorful. From the salad dressings, to the entrees, to the desserts every bite was bursting with flavor. I got a dry red wine and was so happy I did as it balanced everything perfectly.
I'd recommend coming to this place if you're ever in the area.
