This place is so nasty inside. I went in one day after work and there was a smell of a dead rat. I quickly got what I needed and while checking out, I asked the cashier about the smell. She confirmed it was a rat and told me she didn't know if they found it or not. I left that day and never went back. A few weeks later the place burned down.

This was a really nice Dollar General I thought, but now it has burned down and the store no longer exists as of April 2017. I haven't heard if they're going to rebuild or not

Some of the staff is rather rude (like I'm sorry YOU signed up for this), but just keep your main goal in mindit's a great location, open fairly late into the evening, good selection of name brands with a minimum "premium" for convenience (meaning you may pay an extra .50-1.00 for shopping here, VS driving over to the infamous super Walmart). It's not too bad for convenience. Whether you need a quick snack or a few items to make a last minute dinner, inexpensively, you can get the job done here. Just BE SURE to sign up for the DG digital coupons AND remember that nearly every receipt will have a 5.00+ off coupon for SATURDAY. So, if you can, buy a little and come back and save MORE, using the coupon. Oh & this is a GREAT place to buy TOYS during CHRISTMAS. They have an annual sale, though extremely BRIEF, where toys are BOGO free or 50% off.

This is the only location I go to. Even though the customer service isnt nearly close to being great. There is a couple exceptions. One being the older Caucasian male. Who is always friendly. And speaks to everyone. Today one of the newer employees had a nasty disposition. Even though she spoke to the two guys in front of me. She said nothing to me as she totalled up my items. I asked if she could bag up an item. She said she's not obligated to do it because it has a handle. Very dry and nonchalant when she said it. When she was done with me she moved on to the next customer. Said nothing to me. I even had to ask for my receipt. She handed it to me as if I was bothering her. From now on I'll go to a different location or dollar tree/family dollar.
