I love this restaurant! Miss Julia and her family and staff feel like family to me. I can't name my favorite meal because everything I've ever had has been great!

Food was excellent! Great rolls & donuts & salad. Lasagna is wonderful as well as the cheesesteaks. Terrific service.

Super friendly simple place where service is fast. Samples of fresh bread keep you busy while the food is coming and funnel cake like desert come complimentary.
My party had a great looking meatball sub, a giant calzone with delicious red sauce to dip, and a home style stuffed cabbage dish. All the portions were big enough to take some home.

Most foods prepared from scratch with generally fresh ingredients. Pizza is good. Homemade soups are better. Good selection of sandwiches and entrees. Reasonably priced. You want to meet Julia.

Most of the food I've had here was delicious. I especially like the chicken and rice. It has a very delicate tomato-carrot sauce flavored with fresh dill and other herbs. I also really like the chicken marsala. The salads are fresh and the dressings (I've had house and blue cheese) are good and made from real ingredients, not filler.

I wouldn't recommend the wiener schnitzel, though. Wiener schnitzel is traditionally made of veal, pounded thin, coated in breadcrumbs and pan-fried until crispy. The pork they use here would have been OK with me. The thick soggy meat and mushy coating, however, was not. I was told that's just the way the kitchen makes it. Sorry, but you shouldn't use a word like Wiener schnitzel, that has a particular definition, if that's not what you're going to serve. Better to list it on the menu as "soggy pork chop" or something. :)

I appreciate the homey touches like the complimentary rolls and honey bread. The staff are genuinely friendly. The setting is a little shabby if you care about those things, but the food for the most part makes up for it.

Delicious food! I especially like the chicken and rice and the chicken marsala, but nothing I've ever had here has been bad. I appreciate the homey touches like freshly snipped herbs and the complimentary rolls and honey bread. The staff are genuinely friendly. The setting is a little shabby if you care about those things, but to me the scrumptious food more than makes up for it.

Tremendous service and delicious food. We try to make a visit one a month driving from Frederick.
I love the eggplant parm, mozzarella sticks (I'm pretty sure the breading is homemade! :) and the soups which are homemade.

    Highly recommend Dolce Pizza!!!

This is my local pizza place but also visit periodically for sit down meal. Comfortable family run place, where I always feel welcome. Dole serves Italian food with some eastern European thrown in. It is always good, but caters to locals so don't expect a lot of spices or unusual flavors. Fresh, simple and served with love. And you always get a free desert.

A small restaurant, but the owner is simply amazing. Great dishes of all kinds, including Italian, Eastern European (the owner is Romanian), to American. The food is always fresh and delicious. Huge fresh salad with entrees. No alcohol is served, but you can bring your own. If you eat there, donuts/fried dough with powdered sugar is served after the meal. Pretty inexpensive too.

I stopped in here on a whim for lunch and boy am I glad I did! They gyro and fries were excellent, but the surprise warm roll appetizer (free) and fresh donuts at the end of the meal (also free) were incredible. Who does that for lunch anyways? Loved it. The service was also excellent and the owners were genuinely glad to have me. Highly recommend this place if you like 'hole-in-the-wall' gems.

A great restaurant just a little off the beaten path. Friendly staff and good food combine to make this a great place for dinner. While Italian and Greek are mainstays on the menu there are a few other Eastern European dishes available as well.

Met friends for dinner yesterday, everyone loved Dolce'. The food was delicious and the servers were warm, polite and professional. The server brought everyone a garlic roll to start and warm little donuts dripping with honey and powdered sugar for an after dinner treat. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back soon.

    wonderful. to finish the meal

Stopped here for some take-out pizza while on vacation. Service was excellent. They were very patient while I decided and even brought me freshly baked bread while I waited. I've never gotten such attention for a simple to-go order! Prices are very reasonable and all of the employees were super friendly. And our food was excellent! The only negative is that their menu isn't online, which almost made me go with someone else because we were looking for somewhere to deliver, but it was worth the drive over to see what they had to offer.
