  Me and my family tried out Dock Local today for lunch. This place was amazing. The manager there was so friendly and recommended the lobster grilled cheese. I am so happy I got it. That sandwich was incredible. The restaurant was very clean and decorated costal but cute not cheesy. They even had some art from the local high school on display. My husband got the fish and chips which he found great. The kiddo stuck with the French fries which were super good. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend this fabulous place.

  Delicious seafood! Great flavors! I highly recommend buying the lobster rolls! Clam chowder has nice depth and creaminess. The dynamite shrimp were cooked perfectly (soft with a snap). The crust is a little thicker than a tempura batter. The grilled cheese is awesome! The Mac and cheese with lobster is a must.

  In Dallas for the weekend and found this spot through a Google Maps search. Very impressed with this restaurant. We were greeted immediately by the very friendly staff that offered suggestions since it was our first time in. There was no one dining in at the time but 'to go' traffic was nonstop. The restaurant is nestled in a great area with shopping and other restaurants that I am eager to try.
  
  About the food and drinks. I ordered one of the specials, the Nashville fish and chips. My husband ordered the Southern (loaded mac-n-cheese) and added shrimp. The Southern was good, but the Nashville fish and chips were better than words can describe. The flavor was off the charts. It should definitely be a permanent menu item. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. We both ordered the drink special Sheela Paloma. It was very refreshing to the point where you will forget that there's alcohol in it.
  
  Overall, this is a great place with great options. I will definitely be back when I'm in the Dallas area again. It's even worth me randomly making a turnaround trip from Austin. If you're in the are or just want something great to eat, make your way on over to Dock Local.

  The service was fast and friendly we ordered the shrimp quest, fish and chips and lobster grilled cheese. All were great. The fish was flaky and soft. The shrimp queso was something new for me but I liked it. Definitely recommend. The lobster grilled cheese is my new favorite

  Very good food. Personally, I wish the buttered roll was a little bigger (the meat was good but hard to eat without spilling out). Queso is very good and crunchy chips excellent. Chips+drink is great value. This place is not cheap, but its good. Will be back for clam chowder and fish n chips!
