Horrible service , just because I purchased a headstone elsewhere, they have no sympathy in rushing to put his stone because I didn’t purchased with them , which I can’t afford there prices, my husband is there he should have some kind of priority as anyone else , my father in law was buried there just a few days ago and I understand deaths happen everyday and they are busy but having respect for others is also important, we have 3 family members there and they obviously just care about money and don’t care about people’s feelings, keep in mind they have no AC where they make the services at I had to rent a industrial fan to keep our guest cool, horrible horrible experience
I've been in search of my 2nd great grandparents grave sites ( not buried together). I went into the office today & their staff was super helpful & sweet. I had my toddler with me & they were fast & knowledgeable. They looked up my loved ones & brought out a map & also gave me a Xerox copy to take along. Mr Jim Woods went above and beyond to help me locate these relatives in the really old parts if the cemetery. He drove up to the first stop & met me there got out and we looked together. 😊. Then he marked with flags along my next stop to my g.pas location. So helpful!!! Very pleased. Thank you all so much.
Beautiful cemetery. My mom was laid to rest here. She chose a mausoleum space facing the sunrise. The mausoleum they have is beautiful. The service they provided was above and beyond. All of the funeral counselors and service coordinators were great. They all were kind patient and compassionate as we went through the details of choosing a casket, location and time of the service etc. My husbands Granny was buried in Leavenworth cemetery but we were able to arrange to use the mausoleum chapel for her visitation. It is such a beautiful place. We were so comforted knowing we could provide Granny the beautiful service she deserve. If I’m not buried here I definitely want them to take care of the visitation and service for me.
My grandmother was buried here over 50 years ago. She has a small, flat headstone; however, there was a small, rectangular planter behind the headstone. Twice a year, we planted fresh flowers in the planter. This Memorial Day weekend, we came to plant and discovered that new owners of the cemetery ripped out the planter leaving a gaping hole filled with debris behind the headstone. When we went to the office, the lady was extremely rude and totally uncaring. When we asked her what we were to dowe can't even put up a wreath with the big holeshe just shrugged her shoulders. This is, by far, the worst management we have experienced in 50 years of coming to this cemetery. Please do not put your loveday ones here. They just do not care.
The gates were closed and locked early, trapping my friend and I in the cemetery. When we called for help, the woman who answered was extremely rude and accused of "playing in the cemetery" and "trespassing on private property". She also inquired about who we were visiting and didn't believe me when I told her. It then took 45 minutes to receive assistance. You wouldn't think that someone working at a funeral home would be so insensitive and rude
