Very thankful for the wonderful experience here. I was almost scammed into purchasing 4 new tires and was told I couldn't use my warranty on the ones I had at another location. Came here and with no issues, used my warranty and didn't need 4 new tires, just 1. This location saved me $400. I am grateful. Line was super long but the service was fast and efficient. I will only visit this location from now on.

Spoke to the rep on the phone and he provided me with a quote and when walking in he was able to pull up the quote and replaced my tire within 15 minutes. I have always hears good things about them now I have decides it's the only place to get tires.

About 6 months ago I needed two cheap ties for a car I was selling. Their "competitor" had a lower advertised price but didn't have the tires in stock. They tried to sell me two tires at $138 ea. Discount Tire got me out the door for about $140 for both.
Today they fixed a punctured tire, mounted it and checked the air pressure in the other tires for FREE, and I was back on the road in 45 minutes. Amber and Ryan were great, and they guys in the bays were working non-stop.
I won't go anywhere else for wheels and tires.response / report this review -

I went there to have a fairly new tire repaired and was told it had a cut in the sidewall that couldn't be repaired. They tried very hard to get me to buy a new tire. I decided to take the car elsewhere and was shown there was a screw in the tire not even in the sidewall. Detroit Tire repaired the tire with no problem at all. I have had other work done at discount tire before with not many issues but this takes the cake. I'd have to say they tried to scam me!

This place is excellent! I had new tires put on My lincoln, the lug nuts were not tightened properly and ended up coming loose! I'm disabled and unable to tighten the lug nuts myself! They paid for my vehicle to be towed to there store, inspected my vehicle to make sure no damage occurred and tightened lug nuts! I am so appreciative to this discount store team, I would have never made it to my friends wedding if they didn't take these actions! I would highly recommended this store to anybody! THANKS AGAIN DISCOUNT TIRE TEAM LIVONIA MI!

No one enjoys car repairs, but for me the worst part was always feeling out of place in a "car stuff store". I know a fair amount about cars but I'm no expert and unlike most places, the Livonia Discount Tire made me feel really comfortable. It was like shopping anywhere else, the sales people were really nice and helpful, they gave me bottled water and a clean, comfy place to sit with a window so I could watch my car being worked on. They talked to me like a real person and the work was done quite quickly. All-in-all a thoroughly positive experience.

I hit a pothole and it bent my rim the guys at the Livonia Discount Tire took the tire off the rim for me and didn't charge me. The guy who assisted me was very professional and upbeat. So I decided to go back and have them swap my snow tires off and replace them with a new set of all-season. The guy that did that intake was just as professional as the guy who took care of the dismount-I was very impressed with this place .

I've been coming to this location for five years and service continues to decline.
Two weeks, ago my wife got a flat tire and took the car in. They replaced the tire and my wife told them the low tire pressure indicator was on. They told her the indicator would go off when she starts to drive. After a week it was still on so I checked tire and low and behold it was at 12 psi. I put air into the tire and monitored it for a few days and the pressure was down again. So today, I took the car in to check for a slow leak and I sat there for over an hour and half as people that arrived after me came in had their car serviced and left. Horrible store, they have a bunch of kids working here who don't understand how to manage time and make promises they can't keep. You will save maybe 3 bucks a tire from belle tires pricing, it's not worth waiting half a day for them to switch tires. They also take no fault even when they promise you the car will be done when you have an appointment set. Stay away and save time. Positive reviews are obviously from employees, nobody is ever happy about coming to this store. They also are on the phones forever while they have 10 customers in line, but what can you expect from guys who change tires for a living

Excellent customer service and great attitude of all staff. I've been getting my tires from Discount Tire for years and have always been satisfied however, once I experienced the store atmosphere at this particular Discount Tire, I will never go anywhere else.
I have had incredible customer service experience with staff of all levels. The manager, Earl, seems to go out if his way to greet and interact with every customer in the showroom. Feels like a friend is taking care of you. Last time I was in, I had all four of my sons and my little guys got bored. He noticed it and brought them paper and pen so we could play hang man.
They're very busy, which I regard as good because that means people trust them and go see them for the same reasons I do.
They are honest, friendly and take good care of people.response / report this review
